THIBODAUX, La. - The Nicholls State University women's soccer match against the Southern University Jaguars scheduled for this Friday night in Baton Rouge has been postponed and moved to Wednesday, Sept. 5 at 7 p.m.

With Hurricane Isaac expected to make landfall sometime tonight, and making its way through the state heading into the weekend, the Colonels' match against ULL on Sunday has been moved to 6 p.m. that night, as many of the student-athletes have taken shelter outside of the hurricane area.

Nicholls State University will remain closed and classes canceled through Thursday, Aug. 30, as a result of Hurricane Isaac. The campus remains in a Stage III Alert in accordance with the university's Hurricane Emergency Plan.
