A new No. 1 team sits atop this week's Women's Division I Top 25 rankings.
Virginia steamrolled a pair of ACC opponents at home, and couple with a draw and loss by Florida State down in North Carolina, takes over at the summit.
The Cavaliers defeated Louisville by a 4-1 score, and then cruised to a 6-1 win against Miami (FL) on Sunday. The Cavaliers now sit in sole possession of first place in the ACC with an 8-0-1 record.
Conference tournaments begin this weekend for a handful of leagues around the country, as the regular season winds down.
