Heading into a huge conference opener this coming weekend, Rutgers surged to a strong finish in conference play.
The new No. 4 team in this week's Women's DI Top 25 update, the Scarlet Knights came back from a 2-0 deficit, defeating LSU by a 3-2 score over the weekend. Rutgers now has a perfect 8-0 record, playing this Sunday against Ohio State in its Big Ten opener.
No. 1 UCLA held on to the top spot, followed by ACC duo Virginia and North Carolina. Duke rounds out the top five in this week's latest rankings.
