Yannick Smith Named To CoSIDA Capital One Academic All-District III

NORFOLK, VA-- Old Dominion University senior forward Yannick Smith (Hillsborough, NJ.) has been selected to the Capital One Academic All-District III men's soccer team as released today by (CoSIDA) College Sports Information Directors of America. Smith is now eligible for the Capital One Academic All-American team which will be announced later this month.

Smith, who majors in Health and Physical Education scored three goals with five assists this season for 11 points as the 24th ranked Soccer Monarchs compiled an 11-3-2 record. He scored goals against Seton Hall, Drake and George Mason and ranked second on the team in assists.

Smith was a semifinalist for the national Senior Class Award and on the prestigious MAC Hermann Trophy Watch list.
