Kayla Eason, Defender, Heat FC
Class: 2017
Commitment: Vanderbilt
A forward-thinking recruiting search eventually helped Kayla Eason make up her mind when it came to choosing a college.
“I decided to commit to Vanderbilt because I loved everything that the school had to offer academically for my future, as well as the soccer program being in one of the most competitive conferences,” she told TopDrawerSoccer. “But, most of all, I truly admire the coaching staff and the focus that they have to grow the soccer program, along with each individual player. I especially liked the coaches and the focus they have to turn Vanderbilt into a winning program, along with Coach [Darren] Ambrose’s coaching philosophy.”
