HS: Fall state, region rankings, Nov. 9
November 9, 2015
Libertyville (libertyville, Ill.) and Blue Valley Northwest (Overland Park, Kan.) boys teams and [Masspapequa ny-w] (Massapequa, N.Y.) girls take over region No. 1 rankings following an upset-filled week.
While there was little chance among the high nationally ranked teams, a few surprises en route to state title gamess in Illinois and Kansas helped shake up the order among the boys teams. Meanwhile, a 42-match win streak for Somers (Somers, N.Y.) came to an end last week, dropping the squad from the No. 1 spot in both the New York state and New York region rankings.
