The winter high school season gets under wy this week in Arizona and California, and several heavy-hitters will be going head-to-head.

In California, state and region boys No. 1 Loyola clashes with Santa Ana and Cathedral (Calif.) takes on Torrey Pines in contests with major ranking consequences.

This week's state and regional rankings see little change as only the Florida and Southeast schools were in action -- and limited by action at that, given the holiday break.
