The College ID showcase camps at Villanova are perfect for high school students who have ambitions of playing men’s college soccer. Campers have the opportunity to play in front of over 40 college coaches in the 2021 July camps, including up to 30 division I coaches! Villanova Men’s Soccer Head Coach, Tom Carlin, creates a camp environment that prepares high school players for the transition to college soccer. Campers are put through their paces in training sessions run by college coaches. These sessions replicate the intensity of a collegiate practice while also allowing recruiting coaches to observe each player’s attitude towards training.

All camp games are filmed and live streamed to parents and more college coaches. Players have the opportunity to receive footage from camp games to build their highlight reel!

Question and answer sessions with current Villanova Men’s Soccer players allow campers to gain an insight into what life is like as a Division I athlete. Classroom sessions held on Villanova’s stunning campus give advice on the college recruiting process as well as talks on Nutrition, Hydration, Recovery, and Strength and Conditioning. Certified Athletic Trainers are present to assist players for every training session and game throughout the camp.

All players are provided with an evaluation of their performance at the camp and all players receive a Villanova t-shirt and soccer ball just for showing up! Although COVID restrictions mean that most 2021 camps are non-residential, all precautions are being taken to ensure that campers are given the true College ID experience at Villanova! Note that campers signing up for the College ID - Premier Experience can still experience a residential camp with housing provided at a nearby college or hotel. Accommodations handled by us!
