The TopDrawerSoccer Unsigned Showcase made its annual stop in Georgia earlier this year. It was another great event with an array of talent on display.

Here are some of the players who caught our eye on the day.

F Shea Bonacci, Atlanta Fire United SA (2020) – One of the top girls players on the day for numerous reasons, Bonacci’s movement off the ball is top tier quality. She’s constantly creating space, angles and checking back to the ball. She also excels with the ball at her feet. Bonacci has a lot of potential and the ability to do quite well in college.

M Rylee Forster, Jacksonville Armada FC (2020) – Forster stood out with her passing and first touch. Her passes were quick and accurate while her 1st touch often set her up to be successful. She has lot of confidence in herself and the potential to become a quality college player.

D Natalie Haverland, Ohio Elite SA (2020) – Haverland is a solid player who has the ability to play multiple positions. She excelled when it came to her decision making. She is aware of her options before receiving the ball and keeps things simple when playing out of pressure.

M Teresa Wowk, United Futbol Academy GA (2020) – Wowk really impressed with her movement off the ball and composure in pressure situations. She’s a creative midfielder comfortable with the ball at her feet. Wowk has the ability and potential to become an extremely good player.

M John Franks, Concorde Fire SC (2020) – Franks’ skill paired with his speed and quickness makes him a player full of potential. His break away speed and quickness gives him the early jump on defenders. He’s clean and comfortable on the ball which is extremely visible in pressure situations.

M, Christian Sanchez, Tennessee United (2018) – Sanchez really shined in the full field scrimmage. He’s a great competitor who’s relaxed with the ball at his feet.

M Riley Indermuehle, Tennessee United (2019) – Indermuehle’s main strength is with the ball at his feet. He’s a clean dribbler with the skill to get himself out of pressure situations. He’s a player to keep an eye out for.

GK Austin Porter, United Soccer Academy Mount Pleasant (2018) – Porter’s skill came to life in the full field scrimmage. His speed, quickness and footwork set him apart from the other GK’s. Porter was quick off his line and explosive with his dives.

GK Alex Sanchez, Tennessee United (2018) – Sanchez really excelled with his communication. He was constantly helping to organize the back line and providing directions to his defenders. Sanchez’s good attitude paired with his communication give him the potential to develop into a good leader.

D Julian Sidletsky, United Soccer Academy Mount Pleasant (2018) – Sidletsky was one of the best performers on the day. He scored high among college coaches for his ability to communicate or organize. He has the ability to excel at the college level.
