With the kick off of a new club season, TopDrawerSoccer unveils the first edition of the Soccer Masters TeamRank for the 2021/2022 club season. The debut ranking is for the U18/19, U17, and U16 age groups for girls club soccer. 

The initial ranking is heavily dependent on last season’s successes. The championship teams from the various leagues find spots in the Soccer Masters TeamRank Top 25. Check out the rankings for each of the three age group below. 

U18/19 

It’s a party in Northern California in the U18/19 age group. The reigning Girls Academy League national champion Bay Area Surf grabs hold of the top spot in the oldest age group. MLVA, the ECNL U17 National Champion, is the No. 2 team in the initial ranking. Slammers FC HB Koge, formerly LAFC Slammers, Eclipse Select, and Solar Soccer Club round out the top five.

U17 

Slammers FC HB Koge, formerly LAFC Slammers, is the top team in the U17 age group (the 2005 birth year). Slammers won the ECNL National Championship and Surf Cup over the summer. They are the favorite heading into the season. PDA is the No. 2 team in this age group. CUP Gold, Solar SC, and World Class FC are the other teams in the top five.

U16 

KC Athletics is the No. 1 team in the U16 age group for the initial ranking. KC Athletics won the ECNL National Championship during the 2020/2021 season. San Diego Surf, Solar Soccer Club, World Class FC, and NEFC are the other teams in the top five.
