The TeamRank Top 25 presented by Barca Academy, the comprehensive ranking system for elite club soccer teams nationwide, continues updates for the 2017/2018 season with the U18, U17, and U16 girls club soccer teams. We will update our National Top 25 for each age group at least once per month.

For consistency sake, Development Academy teams in the U18/U19 age group are ranked in the U18 age group for the Barca Academy TeamRank Top 25. The Academy teams in the U16/U17 age group are ranked in the U16 age group for TeamRank.

U18 Girls Club Soccer Team Ranking 

Crossfire Premier is the No. 1 team in the TopDrawerSoccer TeamRank Top 25 club soccer teams, presented by Barca Academy, for the October update. Crossfire, from Washington, has been dominant in Development Academy play through the first two months of the season. 

Penn Fusion and So Cal Blues look like challengers to the top spot in the rankings in the coming months as teams prepare for the first Academy Showcase event in Florida in December. 

Legends FC is one of the new teams to the rankings this month. The Southern California side has been impressive through the start of the Development Academy campaign.

U17 Girls Club Soccer Team Ranking 

Dallas Sting jumps up to the No. 1 spot in the TopDrawerSoccer TeamRank Top 25 club soccer team ranking, presented by Barca Academy, for the October Update. Dallas Sting is 7-0 on the season in the Elite Clubs National League. Carolina Elite Soccer Academy, Florida Elite SA, Richmond United, and So Cal Blues are the other teams to watch from the ECNL and rank highly in the TeamRank Top 25.

U16 Girls Club Soccer Team Ranking 

FC Fury NY takes over the No. 1 team in the TopDrawerSoccer TeamRank Top 25 club soccer teams, presented by Barca Academy, for the October update. FC Fury is 6-0 on the season with a plus 21 goal differential. Penn Fusion and Lonestar SC Academy are also teams to watch in this age group over the next few weeks as they have shown well at the start of the season. 

Los Angeles Premier FC jumps up the rankings into the top 15 for this update. The Southern California side has shown well against a tough schedule at the start of the season and could be a challenger in the tough Southwest Division.

Barca Academy TeamRank is the comprehensive team-ranking system devised by TopDrawerSoccer.com to provide an objective and common-sense approach to determining which elite youth soccer teams are the best in the nation.

The rankings, updated monthly, are primarily results-based, with a nod toward the league and championship competitions that emulate how excellence is determined in leading soccer nations around the world.

Tournaments are also included but at a reduced value due to the many mitigating factors involving such events, including attrition and guest players.

A final layer of executive evaluation is provided to account for variables that often impact results, thus ensuring that the monthly lists are not subjective, but are not purely mechanical.
