With 23 goals to his name, Elochukwu Ozumba is having a pretty good season with the Houston Dynamo U16 side in the USSF’s Development Academy. His offensive exploits are also contributing to the success of the team, which is 15-3-1 on the season and in first place in the Frontier Division.
Ozumba is the final months of his junior year in high school, which is the range where most players make their verbal commitment. The striker has been sizing up schools for a while now, and he recently talked to TopDrawerSoccer.com about the process and what he wants from his future program.
