US U18 MNT looks strong at Lisbon International

The US U18 Men's National team finished 1-1-1 at the Lisbon International this past week in Portugal.


After dominating plenty of possessions and getting a goal from Gale Agbossoumonde in a 1-0 win over Finland, the US team took a 0-0 draw against Germany followed by a 1-0 loss to host Portugal.


The defeat was the team’s first international loss of the year under head coach Mike Matkovich, making its record 4-1-1 in 2009. Goalkeeper Zach MacMath recorded two shutouts during the competition.
