DI to resume normal recruiting on June 1
All Division I sports are set to return to normal recruiting calendars on June 1, the NCAA Division I Council announced this week.
Schools are expected to adhere to any campus, local or state requirements when it comes to in-person gatherings.

“We are delighted to announce that as of June 1, all sports will return to their normal recruiting calendars,” Council chair M. Grace Calhoun, athletics director at Pennsylvania, said in a statement. “We want to thank all prospective student-athletes, their families, coaches and current student-athletes for their patience as we determined the best way to move forward safely with recruiting in Division I.”
Division I recruiting has been in a dead period since March 13, 2020 at the start of the COVID-19 pandemic.
