Bruins stay atop Tournament 64 Ranking

A pair of road wins kept B.J. Snow’s UCLA Bruins on top of the TopDrawerSoccer.com Tournament 64 Women’s National Ranking this week. The squad’s victories over Tennessee and Florida pushed its record to 4-0.

Meanwhile, Wisconsin-Milwaukee’s Sarah Hagen continues to score goals at a terrific clip, and her weekend performance vaulted her to the honor as the TopDrawerSoccer.com Players To Watch Player of the Week.

In the Tournament 64 Ranking, North Carolina climbs to #2 nationally after its win over defending national champion Notre Dame, with Stanford remaining #3 and Virginia moving up a spot to #4. Notre Dame drops to #5.

Big movers in the ranking this week include Oklahoma State, Santa Clara and UC Irvine. Newcomers to the national ranking this week are Samford and Denver, of the Southern and Sun Belt conferences, respectively.

The TopDrawerSoccer.com Tournament 64 National Ranking is a running effort to project the postseason NCAA Tournament field, including each automatic conference and at-large qualifier.

The TopDrawerSoccer.com Women’s College Team of the Week is chosen after reviewing every match report for Division One soccer. Sarah Hagen headlines this week’s list after scoring 3 times in two matches as the #32-ranked Panthers won twice to push their season record to 4-0-0. The senior from Appleton, Wisconsin has scored 5 goals this year and 72 for her UWM career.
