The Huskies are now 8-0 after defeating Boston College 2-0 on the road and St. Johns 2-0 at home. UConn has surrendered just 2 goals in 8 matches thus far. They swap places in the ranking with Maryland, whose scoreless draw at Seton Hall this week is the first blemish on the Terrapins’ record.
The ranking is a running effort to project the postseason NCAA Tournament field, including all automatic conference and at-large qualifiers. Weekly updates will appear every Monday.

Meanwhile, Akron forward Darren Mattocks scored a hat trick in his team’s win over Tulsa and has been named the Men's College Player of the Week.
The Men’s College Team of the Week is chosen after reviewing every match report for Division One soccer.
