Stanford still #1; Brooks named POTW

This week’s release of the Tournament 64 National Ranking for women’s soccer sees very little change at the top, with most teams in the top 10 enjoying a flawless week of play.

Stanford, UCLA, Boston College and Oklahoma State continue as the top 4 following their victories last week, while only a few teams in the top half of the ranking experience any hiccups to their respective campaigns.
The Tournament 64 National Ranking is a running effort to project the postseason NCAA Tournament field, including each automatic conference and at-large qualifier.

The Women’s College Team of the Week is chosen after reviewing every match report for Division One soccer. Highlighting the selection this week is North Carolina midfielder Amber Brooks, whose 2 goals and 2 assists, along with her typical, battling, influential presence in the center of the park, helped the Tar Heels to a pair of Atlantic Coast Conference wins.
