The fall season includes the following states: Colorado, Connecticut, D.C., Delaware, Idaho, Illinois, Indiana, Kansas, Kentucky, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Montana, Nevada, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New Mexico, New York, North Carolina, North Dakota, Ohio, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, South Dakota, Vermont, Virginia (private), West Virginia, Wisconsin.

The rankings are compiled by high school rankings editor Sheldon Shealer.

Fil Lucas scored twice and John Najarro, a recent transfer from SIMA FAB 50-ranked Kearny, netted the final goal as St. Benedict's rallied for a 3-1 victory over No. 15 Chaminade (N.Y.).

Three shutout wins at the Blue Springs South Tournament helped Rockhurst leap from No. 4 to No. 2 in this week's SIMA FAB 50. The Hawklets defeated ranked Lee's Summit West, 2-0, Blue Springs South 4-0 and St. Pius 11-0.

John Murphy scored twice in Scotch Plains' 6-0 season-opening win over Plainfield. The team then edged Westfield 2-1 in its second match.

St. Ignatius Cleveland, OH 5-0-1
St. Ignatius was held to a 1-1 draw by Cardinal Gibbons (N.C.) last week in the second of a two-match showcase event. A day earlier, Xavier commit Stephen Milhoan scored twice in the team's 5-0 victory over Lake Catholic.

Gavin Ford, Jason Blackwell and Bryce Wallace each scored twice as Sallies routed Sussex Tech 8-2 in its season opener last week.

Chris Donovan had a big week, scoring the game winner in a 2-1 victory over West Chester Henderson in a meeting of SIMA FAB 50 teams. He capped the week with a hat trick against Great Valley in a 5-1 win.

The dominance of the MIAA schools was on full display last week as Curley routed Perry Hall 7-1. Perry Hall is the defending Class 4A state champion. Logan Peterson and Dylan Holy each scored twice. This week Curley faces SIMA FAB 5 No. 13 Calvert Hall.

Sam Fuchs scored twice as Delbarton cruised to a 5-0 season-opening win over Chatham.

Evanston stayed undefeated with a 1-0 win over Highland Park and a 1-1 draw with Jacobs, a preseason Top 10 team in Illinois.

Chaminade took a 1-0 lead on top-ranked St. Benedict's (N.J.) before falling 3-1. Earlier in the week, Chaminade handled St. Mary's 8-0 behind two-goal performances by Matt Tomlinson, Kevin Lynch and Brendan Slattery.

Whitman defeated Lindenhurst and Riverhead last week, yet remains on the heels of Chaminade, to which it needed a last-minute goal to secure a tie early in the season.

Nicholas Cheung scored both goals as Marquette capped a weekend sweep of Illinois teams with a 2-0 victory over SIMA FAB 50-ranked Hinsdale Central. The Hilltoppers easily defeated Fremd 4-0.

Seton Hall Prep held the advantage in play and shots, still it ended in a scoreless draw with fellow North Jersey power West Orange.

Lower Dauphin posted a four-win week, capped with a Saturday sweep of Hempfield and Dallastown.

Ricardo Gonzalez netted the overtime goal as St. Thomas Aquinas rallied for a 2-1 win over regionally ranked Washburn Rural to highlight a two-win week. The Saints trailed 1-0 until the final four minutes of regulation before getting the game-tying goal from Sam Sketers.
