The boys fall high school season includes the following states: Colorado, Connecticut, D.C., Delaware, Idaho, Illinois, Indiana, Kansas, Kentucky, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Montana, Nevada, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New Mexico, New York, North Carolina, North Dakota, Ohio, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, South Dakota, Vermont, Virginia (fall only), West Virginia, Wisconsin.

The rankings are compiled by high school rankings editor Sheldon Shealer.

Season Complete. New Jersey Prep A state champion.
School Facts: Private, all-boys, 550 students, grades K-12.
NOTES: UCLA commit Celio Pompeu had three goals and five assists while Ronald Mafunzwaini came up big in the postseason again this year with four goals in two matches as St. Benedict's prep rolled to 7-0 wins over Lawrenceville Prep and Pennington School. St. Benedict's outscored its opponents 109-5 and beat teams from six states, which included multi-goal wins over St. Ignatius (Ohio) and Salesianum (Del.) and a 2-1 win over Walt Whitman (Md.). The team, with five major college prospects in the starting 11, was led defensively by Cao Chavez. Mafunzwaini finished with 14 goals and 14 assists. Julian Gomez led the team with 17 goals. Pomepu ended with 15 goals and 22 assists. St. Benedict's is 167-8-3 in nine seasons under Jimmy Wandling, and the program has won state titles in 29 of the past 30 seasons.
2 (2) Naperville North Naperville, IL 26-0-0*
Season Complete. Illinois Class 3A state champion.
School Facts: Public, 2,750 students, grades 9-12.
NOTES: Bowling Green commit Colin Iverson delivered the game-winning goal for the second straight year as Naperville North capped the first-ever perfect season in IHSA history with a 1-0 state final win over Libertyville. Naperville North's lineup also featured standout junior Ty Konrad and Loyola-Chicago basketball commit Tommy Welch, the program's record-setting goalkeeper.
3 (3) Martin Luther King Manhattan, NY 19-0-0*
Season Complete. New York PSAL champion.
School Facts: Public, 2,500 students in six schools in the MLK Educational Complex, grades 9-12.
NOTES: MLK extended its win streak to 59 matches with a 4-0 victory over Staten Island Curtis in the PSAL final. MLK has won three straight PSAL titles. National recruit Yaya Bakayoko finished with 13 goals and 15 assists. Akeem Shelton ended the season with 14 goals and six assists.

Libertyville Libertyville, IL 22-1-0*
Season Complete. Illinois Class 3A state runner-up.
School Facts: Public, 1,950 students, grades 9-12.
NOTES: For the second straight year, Libertyville's undefeated season ended with a 1-0 state final setback to Naperville North. Libertyville was led by Michigan commit Evan Rasmussen, who finished with 33 goals. Libertyville went 42-2-2 the past two seasons to and ended with back-to-back FAB 50 Top 10 finishes.

Monroe-Woodbury Central Valley, NY 21-0-0*
Season Complete. New York Class AA state champion.
School Facts: Public, 2,325 students, grades 9-12.
NOTES: Christ Valle and Colin Lagarde scored the goals and Marist commit Dylan McDermott recorded his 15th shutout as Monroe-Woodbury defeated Baldwinsville 2-0 in the state final. The win gave Monroe-Woodbury a sweep of the Class AA boys and girls state titles.

Holmdel Holmdel, NJ 20-0-1
Jack Giamanco scored twice as Holmdel rolled to a 4-0 victory over Shore in the Central Jersey Group 2 final. Holmdel, which had a win over Non-Public A champion Christian Brothers, now advances to the state semifinals.

Medina Medina, OH 18-1-4*
Season Complete. Ohio Division 1 state champion.
School Facts: Public, 2,500 students, grades 9-12.
NOTES: The Csiszars came up big to lead Medina to a state title, beating powerhouse St. Ignatius 2-1 in the semifinals and Archbishop Moeller 1-0. Gavin Csiszar scored the overtime winner to knock off St. Ignatius. Parker Csiszar delivered the OT winner against Moeller.

St. Ignatius Cleveland, OH 18-2-2*
Season Complete. Ohio Division 1 state semifinalist.
School Facts: Private, all-boys, 1,500 students, grades 9-12.
NOTES: St. Ignatius was stunned in overtime by eventual state champion Medina in the Division I state semifinals. St. Ignatius' other loss was to top-ranked St. Benedict's Prep (N.J.). The Wildcats won the Jesuit Cup, tied Kentucky state champion St. Xavier and defeated regionally ranked Olentangy Liberty. With Louisville commit Kyle Folds and national recruit Matthew McLaughlin returning next season, St. Ignatius will be the preseason favorite in Ohio.
9 (9) Crystal Lake South Crystal Lake, IL 22-2-3*
Season Complete. Illinois Class 2A state champion.
School Facts: Public, 1,460 students, grades 9-12.
NOTES: Goalkeeper Oscar Estrada came up big in back-to-back shootouts, the second one leading Crystal Lake South to a state final win over Peoria Notre Dame. The team finished the season ranked No. 3 in the ChicagolandSoccer.com Top 50, behind 3A champ Naperville North and 3A runner-up Libertyville. Alex Canfield had a goal and one assist in regulation as the match with PND went to 3-3 before the Crystal Lake South won a 4-1 shootout.
10 (10) Peoria Notre Dame Peoria, IL 23-3-0*
Season Complete. Illinois Class 2A state runner-up.
School Facts: Private, 800 students, grades 9-12.
NOTES: A stellar season ended with a state final loss to Crystal Lake South. Junior standout Noah Madrigal led the team in scoring with 41 goals. Myles Sophanavong added 24 goals and Declan Dillon, who had a goal and one assist in the final, added 10 goals and 22 assists. All three are returning next season. PND recorded key wins over Milwaukee Marquette (Wis.) and perennial Missouri state title contender Rockhurst Jesuit (Mo.). The team's losses were a 1-0 setback to No. 2 Naperville North, Prep Top 10-ranked Gateway Christian (Mo.) and Crystal Lake South.
11 (11) Milwaukee Marquette Milwaukee, WI 21-2-0*
Season Complete. Wisconsin Division 1 state champion.
School Facts: Private, all-boys, 1,025 students, grades 9-12.
NOTES: Marquette won a record fifth straight state title, defeating league rival Sussex Hamilton 3-0 in the final. Gabe Anguil netted two goals. Thomas Bruneau had a goal and one assist. Like Salesianum (Del.), Marquette dominates its state so its national standing depends on its out-of-state matches. The team lost a match in regulation to Peoria Notre Dame (Ill.) and pushed Naperville North (Ill.) to a shootout before losing in the Go 4 The Goal Fall Classic championship match. The Hilltoppers did post key wins over Salesianum, also in a shootout, Chaminade (Mo.) and Rockhurst Jesuit (Mo.).

Season Complete. Kentucky state champion.
School Facts: Private, all-boys, 1,325 students, grades 9-12.
NOTES: Conner George scored in the opening minute and St. Xavier made it stand in a 1-0 victory over Highlands in the state final. The victory gave St. Xavier its 14th state title in 16 state final appearances. The Tigers have won back-to-back titles. The result also gave the George family a sweep as Conner's younger sister played for Sacred Heart Academy's team, which won a state title the night earlier. George and Kentucky commit Case Cox both reached the 25-goal milestone this season. St. Xavier went 5-0-1 in out-of-state matches, tying St. Ignatius (Ohio).

Salesianum Wilmington, DE 14-2-0
Junior John Thomas scored twice as Salesianum cruised to a 7-0 win over Sussex Tech to start postseason play. Sallies faces William Penn in the state semifinals this week.

Walt Whitman Bethesda, MD 16-1-0
Walt Whitman was pushed to the brink, but survived a shootout, winning 4-3 in kicks following a scoreless match with Broadneck. The win sends the Vikings into this week's state final against Urbana.

Lee's Summit Lee's Summit, MO 21-1-0
Jackson Wood converted a bicycle kick for the game's lone goal as Lee's Summit advance to the state semifinals with a 1-0 win over Rock Bridge. Lee's Summit next faces FAB 50-ranked DeSmet.

The Heights School Potomac, MD 17-0-1*
Season Complete. Washington Catholic Athletic Conference champion.
School Facts: Private, 550 students, grades 3-12.
NOTES: Touted as the best WCAC in nearly a decade -- going back to the DeMatha dynasty, The Heights capped its first-ever season in the league with a 3-0 victory over Pail VI (Va.) in the final. Gonzalo Percovich gave The Heights a 1-0 lead before Princeton commit Daniel Diaz-Bonilla added a second goal. The Heights received an own goal for the final margin. The Heights had multiple wins over Gonzaga (D.C.) and Paul VI (Va.), handing them each lopsided regular season losses before the playoff rematches. The Heights is ranked No. 2 in The Washington Post behind Walt Whitman, and the teams have comparable results against common opponents.

Season Complete. New York Class A state champion.
School Facts: Public, 775 students, grades 9-12.
NOTES: Henry Martinez scored both goals as Amityville completed an undefeated season with a 2-1 state final win over Somers. The win marked Amityville's second state title in four seasons. Amithyville posted a win over perennial Long Island power St. Anthony's early in the season to jumpstart the run to the title.

Nauset Eastham, MA 21-0-0
Nauset opened up a 4-0 lead en route to a 4-1 win over Foxboro in the Division 2 South Section semifinal. The win sends Nauset to the section final against Walpole, which was scheduled for Monday.

Chesterton Chesterton, IN 21-0-2*
Season Complete. Indiana Class 3A state champion.
School Facts: Public, 2,050 students, grades 9-12.
NOTES: Despite getting outshot 25-11, Chesterton snagged a first-ever state title in dramatic fashion when Robbie Capehart scored on a header with 27 seconds left in the second overtime in a 1-0 decision over Zionsville. Bailey Arthur assisted the winning goal. Sophomore keeper Charlie Eaton had six saves, but one was a game-saving diving stop that gave Chesterton a chance to win. Senior defender Jack Eaton and junior forward Seth Conway were first-team all-district selections. Charlie Eaton and sophomore forward Jack Bowser were second-team all-district picks.

Christian Brothers College St. Louis, MO 23-2-2
Julian Bennett, Sam Benoist and Camden Starzyk scored the goals as CBC ousted Chaminade 3-1 in the state quarterfinals. The win sends CBC into a state semifinal showdown with fellow state power Rockhurst. Last year, the teams met in the state semifinals with Rockhurst winning.

Glen Rock Glen Rock, NJ 22-0-1
Ben Zakowski scored three goals, raising his season total to 25, as Glen Rock handled Ramsey 4-1 in the section final. Glen Rock advance to this week's state semifinals.

Washington Township Sewell, NJ 23-1-0
Jake Logar and Arturo Serano scored the goals to lead Washington Township to a 2-1 win over Jackson Memorial for the program's fifth straight section title. Washington Township now moves into the state semifinals.

Ludlow Ludlow, MA 18-0-3
Mike Tuck added to Ludlow's legacy, scoring the goal that carried the team to a 1-0 win over Longmeadow for the program's 26th Western Mass title. The Lions advance to this week's state semifinals.

McDonogh School Owings Mills, MD 13-4-1*
Season Complete. MIAA A Conference champion.
School Facts: Private, 1,400 students, grades K-12.
NOTES: Canadian keeper Kieran Baskett converted a penalty kick then made a game-winning save as McDonogh stunned Loyola in a shootout in the MIAA final. Loyola had won both regular-season meetings between the league powers. Penn State commit Andrew Privett hit the post twice late in the match that could have given the Eagles the win in regulation. McDonogh and Loyola have combined to win six of the last seven MIAA A Conference titles.

School Facts: Private, all-boys, 1,000 students, grades 9-12.
NOTES: Loyola's perfect season ended with a eight-round shootout loss to McDonogh in the MIAA A Conference final. The match was scoreless through regulation and two overtime periods.
