Fall FAB 50 High School Soccer Team Rankings

The boys fall high school season includes the following states: Colorado, Connecticut, D.C., Delaware, Idaho, Illinois, Indiana, Kansas, Kentucky, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Montana, Nevada, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New Mexico, New York, North Carolina, North Dakota, Ohio, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, South Dakota, Vermont, Virginia (fall only), West Virginia, Wisconsin.

The rankings are compiled by high school rankings editor Sheldon Shealer.

St. Benedict's routed a pair of perennially strong programs last week, handling Hill School (Pa.) 6-0 and Chaminade (N.Y.) 7-0. UCLA commit Celio Pompeu had two goals and two assists.
2 (2) Naperville North Naperville, IL 19-0-0
Naperville North closed out a perfect regular season with wins over Metea Valley and Downers Grove South. A throw-in by Christian Romano ended up in the net for the winner in a 1-0 decision over Metea Valley. Ty Konrad and Bowling Green commit Colin Iverson each scored twice in the Huskies' 6-0 win over DGS.
3 (3) Libertyville Libertyville, IL 16-0-0
Michigan commit Evan Rasmussen scored twice as Libertyville defeated Lake Forest Academy 4-2 to complete the first perfect regular season in the program's 42-year history.
4 (4) Louisville Trinity Louisville, KY 18-0-0
Brandon McManus had a five-goal outing as Trinity opened the playoffs with a 10-0 win over Waggener. The Shamrocks then won the district title with a 5-0 decision over Seneca.
5 (5) Martin Luther King Manhattan, NY 13-0-0
MLK pushed its win streak to 53 with victories over Stuyvesant, Bradneis and Byram Hills last week.
6 (6) Delbarton School Morristown, NJ 14-0-0
Ivan Scotto had a goal and two assists as Delbarton cruised past Morris Knolls 5-1 in the Morris County Tournament semifinals last week. The win sends the team to its eighth straight MCT final appearance.
7 (7) Loyola Towson, MD 11-0-0
John Peterson netted all three goals as Loyola rallied from a 2-0 deficit to stun FAB 50 No. 9 McDonogh 3-2 in a battle of undefeated MIAA powers. This was the first of two meetings scheduled between the league rivals. The rematch, which was slated for Saturday, was postponed due to weather.

St. Ignatius Cleveland, OH 13-1-2
Louisville commit Kyle Folds and Bryce Horton netted the goals as St. Ignatius closed out the regular season with a 2-0 victory over recent FAB 50-ranked Olentangy Liberty. The Wildcats start postseason play this week.

McDonogh School Owings Mills, MD 7-1-1
Penn State commit Andrew Privett and statndout junior Mason Christian scored goals to give the Eagles an early 2-0 lead before FAB 50 No. 7 Loyola rallied for a 3-2 win in the first of at least two meetings between these MIAA frontrunners.

Peoria Notre Dame Peoria, IL 17-2-0
PND routed Champaign Central and Bloomington by a combined 14-1 margin last week.

Milwaukee Marquette Milwaukee, WI 15-2-0
Marquette closed out regular season play with wins over Wauwatosa East and Menomonee Falls. The Hilltoppers' annual season-ending clash with Whitefish Bay was canceled as Whitefish Bay was obligated to make up a postponed league match in that game's place.

Troy Athens Troy, MI 19-0-0
Elio Zoto scored three goals as Athens defeated Utica Eisenhower 6-0 last week. T.J. Renaud had a one-goal, two-assist performance in the Redhawks' 3-0 victory over North Farmington.

Holmdel Holmdel, NJ 13-0-0
Monmouth commit Anthony Arena had a pair of two-goal outings as Holmdel defeated Shore and Allentown last week.

Morton closed out regular season play with wins over Addison Trail and Riverside-Brookfield last week.

Haverford School Haverford, PA 9-0-2
Franklin & Marshall commit Will Micheletti netted both goals as Haverford School edged Springside Chestnut Hill 2-1 last week in a battle of Pennsylvania independent school frontrunners.

Conestoga Berwyn, PA 15-1-0
Conestoga, whose only setback is to FAB 50 No. 15 Haverford School, posted shutout wins over Upper Darby, Lower Merion and Unionville last week.

Montclair Montclair, NJ 12-0-0
Montclair started its season with an attention-grabbing win over Seton Hall Prep and hasn't let up. Last week, Montclair won three matches capped by a 2-0 victory over Bloomfield on goals by Phillip Cubeddu and Will Moore.

Salesianum Wilmington, DE 7-2-0
Benjamin Strine assisted the first two goals as Sallies defeated Appoquinimink 3-1 last week in a meeting of Delaware Division 1 frontrunners.

St. Xavier Louisville, KY 19-2-1
St. Xavier was stunned in penalty kicks by rival Louisville Collegiate in the district final after holding a 3-0 lead late in the second half. Despite the result, the Tigers still advance to the regional tournament this week were a rematch with Collegiate is possible.

Fairview Boulder, CO 13-0-0
Sophomore Sebastien Mazur factored offensively in all three outings last week, including netting the game-winning goal in Fairview's 1-0 victory over Poudre.

St. Christopher's had no problem dispatching John Paul the Great and St. Anne's-Belfield, ripping the small private school opponents by a combined 15-1 margin.

Daniel Watts scored two goals and had two assists as Myers Park handled Rocky River 9-0 last week.

Forest Hills Northern Grand Rapids, MI 17-0-1
The Huskies handled Forest Hills Central and Greenville to close out an undefeated regular season.

Fairfield Prep has built an impressive resume this season, which includes wins over Boston College High (Mass.) and St. Anthony's (N.Y.).

Wheaton Academy was upset by St. Charles East in the regular season finale, but heads into the playoffs as a title threat. The team's performance over the next three weeks will determine its place among the nation's elite.
