FAB 50 High School Soccer Team Rankings

The boys fall high school season includes the following states: Colorado, Connecticut, D.C., Delaware, Idaho, Illinois, Indiana, Kansas, Kentucky, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Montana, Nevada, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New Mexico, New York, North Carolina, North Dakota, Ohio, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, South Dakota, Vermont, Virginia (fall only), West Virginia, Wisconsin.

The rankings are compiled by high school rankings editor Sheldon Shealer.

St. Benedict's extended its undefeated streak to 51 matches with a 4-0 victory over New Brunswick last week. Zemi Rodriguez had a goal and two assists. Israel Neto scored twice. Earlier in the week, St. Benedict's handled St. Peters Prep 6-0, getting goals from six players.

Luciano Pechota netted the lone goal as St. Ignatius capped the regular season with a 1-0 win over state-ranked Olentangy Liberty.

Medina Medina, OH 15-0-1
Mike Kelly had a goal and on assist as Medina defeated Stow 4-1 to put the finishing touches on an undefeated regular season. Medina now sports a 27-match undefeated streak.

Delbarton School Morristown, NJ 13-0-1
Delbarton was held to a tie with Delran before beating West Morris last week. Brendan McSorley finished the week with two goals and one assist.
5 (5) Lee's Summit Lee's Summit, MO 10-0-0
Lee's Summit kept its perfect record in tact with an 8-0 victory over Liberty North last week. The team's Crosstown Showdown against Lee's Summit North was postponed.

Peoria Notre Dame Peoria, IL 16-1-0
Noah Madrigal scored three goals as Peoria Notre Dame pinned a 5-2 defeat on Libertyville, ending that team's undefeated season. The contest pitted the TDS No. 1 vs. 2 teams in Illinois and the result puts PND back at No. 1.

Brentwood Brentwood, NY 12-0-0
Brentwood surrendered its first goal of the season, but bounced back for a 4-1 win over Patchogue-Medford. Brentwood had a string of 11 shutouts to start the season.

Rockwood Summit Fenton, MO 15-0-1
Christian Kraus had six goals and two assists last week as Summit rolled up three wins, including a 3-0 decision over Vianney. Summit clashes with defending state champ Christian Brothers this week.

Forest Hills Northern Grand Rapids, MI 17-0-1
Forest Hills Northern cruised to a pair of 8-0 wins last week, beating Greenville and Sparta.

Zionsville Zionsville, IN 17-0-0
Alex Carr scored the game-winner in the 68th minute as Zionsville rallied for a 2-1 win over North Central for the section title. North Central scored first in the match, marking the first time Zionsville has trailed this season. Zionsville had advanced to the section final following a 2-1 win over Carmel.

Lower Merion Ardmore, PA 15-0-1
Will Pitonyak and Owen Downey scored goals, both assisted by senior Phil Monos, as Lower Merion defeated state-ranked Conestoga 2-1. The Aces also defeated Radnor 2-0 behind goals from Shane Brown and Reid Joseph.

Libertyville Libertyville, IL 13-1-2
Libertyville, which pinned the only loss on New Trier, saw its undefeated season end in a 5-2 setback to SIMA FAB 50 No. 6 Peoria Notre Dame. Mickey Reilly scored first to give Libertyville a 1-0 lead, but PND responded with three goals. Connor Hay pulled Libertyville within 3-2, assisted by Reilly, but PND scored the last two goals to put away the contest.

New Trier Winnetka, IL 13-1-4
Aidan Crowder had two goals and one assist as New Trier won the CSL Crossover championship 4-1 over Highland Park. Crowder also scored twice earlier in the week during New Trier's 2-0 win over Palatine.

Milwaukee Marquette Milwaukee, WI 14-1-1
Luke Thew scored twice while Ivan Micanovic had a goal and one assist in Marquette's 4-1 win over Menomonee Falls last week.

Edina Edina, MN 18-0-0
Edina started postseason play with a pair of comfortable wins over Chanhassen and Eden Prairie. This week, the team clashes with Minnetonka, the state's second-ranked team with a 13-2-3 record and the only losses are to Edina.

Robbie Carpenter scored twice and Zack Bowser had a goal and two assists as Chesterton cruised to a 5-0 section final win over Merrillville.

Olathe West defeated Bishop Miege 4-1 last week in the 810 Soccer Showcase. This week Olathe West takes on city rival Olathe East.

Salesianum jumped out to a 3-0 lead before holding off Appoquinimink 3-2 in a clash of Delaware's top two teams. Andrew Blackwell's goal in the 45th minute proved to be the game winner.

Christian Nava provided the team's offensive highlight last week, scoring three goals during Albuquerque's 6-0 win over Santa Fe. The sophomore standout now has 17 goals on the season.

Juan Ponce scored the game-winning goal against in a 3-2 decision over Westhampton and had two in a 3-1 win over Glenn lsat week. Jeffrey Saravia had two goals and two assists during the week.

Glastonbury, the defending state champs, were held to a scoreless draw by Plainville last week, ending a 14-match win streak.

Kilbourne closed out an undefeated regular season with a 1-1 draw with rival Thomas Worthington.

Fremd, whose lone loss is to SIMA FAB 50 No. 6 Peoria Notre Dame, defeated Palatine and Prospect last week.

Boise becomes the first-ever boys team from Idaho to crack the Top 25. Sami Marquez, Ian Woodley, Thomas Ryden each scored goals in the team's 3-0 win over Mountain View last week.
