FAB 50 High School Soccer Team Rankings

The boys fall high school season includes the following states: Colorado, Connecticut, D.C., Delaware, Idaho, Illinois, Indiana, Kansas, Kentucky, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Montana, Nevada, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New Mexico, New York, North Carolina, North Dakota, Ohio, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, South Dakota, Vermont, Virginia (fall only), West Virginia, Wisconsin.

The rankings are compiled by high school rankings editor Sheldon Shealer.

1 (1) St. Benedict's Prep Newark, NJ 17-0-1
Rhys Armstrong had a two goals and two assists as St. Benedict's closed out an undefeated regular season with a 6-0 victory over Newark East Side.
2 (2) St. Ignatius Cleveland, OH 17-0-2
St. Ignatius used a balance scoring attack to post a 4-1 win over North Royalton in the district final on Saturday. Indiana commit Kyle Folds netted the game-winning goal on a penalty kick. Earlier in the week, Notre Dame commit Matthew McLaughlin scored three goals and Everett Shorey added two as St. Ignatius cruised to a 5-0 win over Lincoln West. St. Ignatius next faces Avon in the regional semifinals. Fold and McLaughlin were named to the High School All-American Game.
3 (3) Medina Medina, OH 18-0-1
Parker Csiszar, Josh Cabacungan, Mason Provost and Gavin Csiszar each scored goals to lift Medina to a 4-0 victory over Copley for the district title on Saturday. Medina next faces Solon in the regional semifinals. Parker Csiszar was selected to the High School All-American Game.
4 (4) Delbarton School Morristown, NJ 18-0-1
Junior Curt Calov scored twice in Delbarton's 4-2 win over Chatham and added a goal and one assist during the team's 6-0 victory over Morris Knolls last week.
5 (5) Lee's Summit Lee's Summit, MO 15-0-0
Lee's Summit needed a second-half goal to slip past Liberty 1-0 last week and stay perfect entering the final week of regular season play.
6 (6) Peoria Notre Dame Peoria, IL 19-1-0
Peoria Notre Dame's regional final against Richwoods was postponed Saturday and moved to Monday. The winning team will need to turn around and play Tuesday in the next round of postseason play. PND's only match last week was an 8-0 victory over Limestone as Myles Sophanavong scored four goals. Sophanavong and Noah Madrigal were selected to the High School All-American Game.
7 (7) Brentwood Brentwood, NY 16-0-0
Brandon Yanez scored an overtime goal to keep Brentwood perfect with a 4-3 win over Central Islip. He also assisted both goals in the team's 2-0 win over Floyd last week.
8 (8) Rockwood Summit Fenton, MO 21-0-1
Christian Kraus scored five goals last week as Summit won three matches. Kraus, who has more than 30 goals this season, was among the players selected for the High School All-American Game.
9 (9) Forest Hills Northern Grand Rapids, MI 21-0-1
Aidan O'Connor converted a penalty kick to secure Forest Hills Northern's 2-0 win over Byron Center last week. The win sends the Huskies into this week's state semifinals and a clash with state-ranked Mattawan. Also, O'Connor was selected to the High School All-American Game.
10 (10) Zionsville Zionsville, IN 20-0-0
Zionsville received an own goal to snap a 1-1 match en route to a 2-1 win over Columbus East in the state semifinals. The win sends Zionsville back to the state final for the second straight season. The Eagles trailed Columbus East until Chris Freeman evened the score. Zionsville will face Lake Central in the final.
11 (11) Lower Merion Ardmore, PA 19-0-1
Lower Merion secured a spot in the PIAA Class AAAA state playoffs with a 2-1 victory over Central Bucks West last week. The win sends Lower Merion into this week's district semifinals, but all four semifinalist advance to the 16-team state tournament. At this point, the District 1 semifinalist are only playing for seeding in the next round.
12 (12) New Trier Winnetka, IL 16-1-4
Aidan Crowder scored the game-winning goal in the second overtime session, his team-leading 17th goal on the season, as New Trier edged Leyden 2-1 for the regional title. New Trier advances to this week's sectional semifinals.
13 (13) Milwaukee Marquette Milwaukee, WI 19-1-1
In two playoff matches last week, Marquette keeper Alex Grow made only two saves as the Hilltoppers cruised to wins over Lincoln and King. Grow, a Loyola-Chicago commit, was selected to the High School All-American Game.
14 (14) Edina Edina, MN 20-0-0
Edina received goals from four players in a 4-0 victory over Maple Grove, sending this team to the state semifinals this week. Will Swanda, the lone Edina player to receive All-Metro first-team honors, scored the scoring started for Edina.
15 (15) Olathe West Olathe, KS 15-1-0
Jonathan Munoz, a Liberty commit, was selected to the High School All-American Game.
16 (16) Salesianum Wilmington, DE 13-1-0
Junior Ethan Hinds had a goal and three assists last week as Salesianum defeated Wilmington Charter and Kingsway (N.J.).
17 (17) Albuquerque Albuquerque, NM 18-0-0
Albuquerque could be a national power for years to come if last week was any indication. The Bulldogs closed out the regular season with two wins as sophomores accounted for eight of the team's 12 goals. Christian Nava scored four goals and Andres Robles had three. Albuquerque next plays in the state quarterfinals on Nov. 6.
18 (18) Amityville Amityville, NY 16-0-0
Jeremy Guardado had a goal and one assist as Amityville closed out a third straight undefeated regular season with a 4-0 win over Sayville.
19 (19) Glastonbury Glastonbury, CT 12-0-1
Glastonbury Conard and Newington last week to stay undefeated. The Tomahawks remain the No. 1 team in Connecticut's Class LL playoff race.
20 (20) Worthington Kilbourne Worthington, OH 16-0-3
Kilbourne defeated Dublin Jerome 4-1 to wi the district title. The result sends Kilbourne into this week's regional semifinals against St. Charles Prep.
21 (21) Fremd Palatine, IL 13-1-4
Josh Bennett assisted on Fremd's first three goals during a 4-1 regional final victory over Stevenson. The win sends Fremd into a clash with SIMA FAB 50-ranked Libertyville in the sectional semifinals on Tuesday.
22 (22) Bishop Gorman Las Vegas, NV 21-0-1
Bishop Gorman closed out regular season play with a 9-1 thrashing of Foothill last week. The Gaels will be idle this week before starting postseason play Nov. 5.
23 (23) Commack Commack, NY 15-0-1
Jackson Masters had a goal and one assist in both of Commack's wins last week as the team completed an undefeated regular season with victories over Walt Whitman and Sachem North.

Portland Jesuit Portland, OR 12-0-2
Portland Jesuit clinched the No. 1 seed in the 6A state tournament with shutout wins over Southridge and Sunset last week. The Crusaders have shut out four of their last five opponents.

Fort Zumwalt South St. Peters, MO 22-1-0
Fort Zumwalt South's three-win week was highlighted by a victory over SIMA FAB 50-ranked Rock Bridge. Devin Livingstone had a goal and one assist in the 3-0 victory. The Bulldogs' lone loss this year is to Milwaukee Marquette (Wis.).
