NOTES: Charlie Marino's second-half goal carried Wando to a 1-0 win over J.L. Mann in the state final. The Warriors ended the year with an 11-match shutout streak. Marino, a junior soon to commit to a Division I program, was one of three Wando players on the Class AAAAA all-state team, joining Zach Aversano and Andrew Pickhardt. Seven of the nine seniors have committed to college programs, three to NCAA Division I teams. En route to a perfect season, Wando defeated teams from three states and Puerto Rico. Coach Shilo Tisdale has a career record of 270-31-2.

Patrick Henry rolled over Stone Bridge 5-1 last week to advance to the Virginia 5A North semifinals.

Season Complete. Georgia Class AAAAA state champion.
School Facts: Public, 1,675 students, grades 9-12.
NOTES: Logan Brown scored the overtime winner, lifting McIntosh to a come-from-behind 2-1 victory over Clarkston in the state final. The win marked McIntosh's sixth state title. Team's lone loss was a setback to nationally ranked Dalton, which lost in the postseason. The Chiefs had a regular season win over Clarkston and defeated Alabama 7A champ Oak Mountain 3-0.

Station Camp Gallatin, TN 22-0-2*

School Facts: Public, 1,550 students, grades 9-12.
NOTES: Sophomore Tyler Jessen scored the lone goal in the 53rd minute as Station Camp edged Houston 1-0 in the state final, bringing the school a first-ever soccer state title. The goal was Jessen's 30th of the season. Station Camp's undefeated season included wins over Division II-AA state semifinalist Christian Brothers, along with region and nationally ranked Collierville, Science Hill and Houston. Station Camp played South Carolina Class AAAAA runner-up J.L. Mann to a 2-2 draw in a match Station Camp led 2-0.

School Facts: Public, 1,100 students, grades 9-12.
NOTES: Wilbert Perez scored the first two goals and then served up the corner kick in overtime that Carlos Pacheco finished to give Berea a first-ever state title with a 3-2 decision over Blufton. Berea averaged nearly seven goals a match in a season where it overwhelmed its opponents, yet needed to survive to overtime contests in the playoffs.

School Facts: Private, all-boys, 915 students, grades 6-12.
NOTES: McCallie ended the MBA curse, beating Montgomery Bell Academy 3-2 in the state final as Northwestern signee Drew Viscomi had a goal and one assist. MBA ousted McCallie from the playoffs the past four years -- the last years in the state semifinals. Noah Tremain scored first for the Big Blue, which secured its first title since 1999, and William Hart pushed the lead to 3-1 in the second half. MBA scored with a minute left for the final margin. McCallie's lone setback was to Oak Mountain (Ala.), yet the team posted a number of quality wins, such as 7-0 over Fort Payne (Ala.), which defeated Top 25-ranked Dalton (Ga.), Boyd-Buchanan, Baylor School and Christian Brothers. McCallie also tied winter power Coppell (Texas) in a rare clash of spring and winter programs.

Archbishop Murphy Everett, WA 22-0-0*
Season Complete. Washington Class 2A state champion.
School Facts: Private, 500 students, grades 9-12.
NOTES: Archbishop Murphy simply rolled through Class 2A, capping the year with an 8-0 win over East Valley in the state final, marking the most lopsided final in Washington history. Seniors Matt Williams and Jesen Crisler each scored three goals to pace the senior-heavy team, which has now won three straight state titles. Archbishop Murphy outscored its opponents 109-7 on the season.

William & Mary signee Sam Golan scored twice to pace Langley to a 5-1 win over West Springfield and into the Class 6A North semifinals. One more win will secure Langley a place in the state semifinals.

Season Complete. South Carolina Independent Schools Association Class AAA state champion.
School Facts: Private, 500 students, grades 7-12.
NOTES: Navy-bound Wyatt Millard scored three goals in the final as Cardinal Newman handled Hammond School 4-1. Millard finished the year with 16 goals and 18 assists. Newman's lone loss was a 3-1 setback to top-ranked Wando in a midseason tournament.

Mills Godwin received goals from three players in handling Deep Run 3-0 in the Conference 11 final last week. The teams could meet again this week in the 5a South semifinals.

School Facts: Public, 1,950 students, grades 9-12.
NOTES: Houston's season ended with a 1-0 loss to Station Camp in the state final, marking the first time the team had been shut out in 20 matches. Houston allowed only eight goals during the season.

School Facts: Private, all-boys, 715 students, grades 7-12.
NOTES: Montgomery Bell scored the first and last goals of the state final, but allowed three in between in a 3-2 setback to McCallie School. Sophomore standout Luke Bernatavitz gave MBA the lead in the 14th minute, but two minutes later it was tied and MBA never recovered. MBA, which entered the final undefeated, posted two wins over Father Ryan, Ryan's only two losses of the year.

School Facts: Public, 1,775 students, grades 9-12.
NOTES: River Bluff's season ended with a 1-0 loss to Wando in the state semifinals, the team's only regulation loss of the year. The other setback was in a shootout during a tournament for advancement purposes. The Gators, led by two-time all-state pick Marcelo Malpartida and Connor Slattery, had key wins over nationally ranked Mauldin, Class AAAA state champion Chapin, and regionally ranked Socastee.

School Facts: Public, 1,900 students, grades 9-12.
NOTES: Lionel Tourodo gave Clarkston a lead, but it could not hold it in a 2-1 state final overtime loss to McIntosh. Both Clarkston losses were to McIntosh. The team had wins over Georgia AAAAAA state champion Chattahoochee and AAAAAAA champion Meadowcreek, along with Alabama 7A semifinalist Vestavia Hills.

School Facts: Private, 950 students, grades 9-12.
NOTES: Led by Louisville signee J.P. Armbruster and East Tennessee State signee Kyle Hellmann, Father Ryan became a fixture in the Top 25 for the 2017 season. The team's only losses were to Montgomery Bell Academy, including a 3-2 season-ending setback in the state semifinals.

NOTES: J.L. Mann reached the state final before falling to Wando 1-0. Outside of Wando, J.L. Mann had a win over each of the three teams to which it lost during the regular season. The Patriots also won a bracket title at the Smoky Mountain Cup, rallying for a tie with Station Camp (Tenn.) n the final match. The senior-heavy team, with five NCAA Division I signees, was led by Clemson signee Quinn McNeill and fellow all-state picks Drake Byrd and Dean Sinatra.

NOTES: Science Hill's season ended with a 4-2 loss to Station Camp in the state semifinals. Elliott Fry had scored twice and Sam Massey once in a 3-0 state quarterfinal win over previously undefeated Cleveland. During the regular season, Science Hill lost to Dobyns-Bennett, then beat the team three times in the last month of the season, twice in the postseason.

School Facts: Public, 1,800 students, grades 9-12.
NOTES: Mark Filimonov scored the game-tying goal and J.J. Allen converted a second-half penalty kick that proved to be the game winner as Beamer rallied for a 2-1 win over Pasco. The win marked the first-ever state title for Beamer, which had a number of powerhouse teams in the pre-Development Academy days. Beamer was state title long shot in the preseason, coming off a 2016 campaign where it had missed the playoffs and graduated nine starters.
