NOTES: Tony Saldana scored twice in between goals by Yahir Perez and Manny Prieto as Dalton defeated FAB 50-ranked Gainesville 4-1 in the state final, completing a perfect season. Wake Forest signee Omar Hernandez assisted both of Saldana's goals. The title marked the fourth for Dalton since 2013 and fifth overall. Dalton has wins over teams from Alabama, Georgia and Tennessee. The notable results were wins over FAB 50-ranked McCallie School (Tenn.) and Gainesville, and a state semifinal victory over Pope (Ga.), a former FAB 50-ranked team. |

NOTES: Sophomore Christian Sosa converted the deciding penalty kick as Jenks edged rival Tulsa Union in a shootout following a 1-1 match. The shootout went 11 rounds between these state powers, which were meeting in the state final for the second straight season. The win gave Jenks its first state title since 2006. Andres Quintero scored Jenks' regulation goal, which at the time tied the match at 1. Jenks had key victories over Union and Oklahoma 5A state champion Bishop Kelley during the regular season. Jenks also won the Southern Soccer Challenge in Alabama, beating Randolph (Ala.), Independence (Tenn.) and Grissom (Ala.). |

Westminster had three common opponents with Dalton and had comparable results. Westminster's lone loss was to Station Camp (Tenn.) during the Smoky Mountain Cup, an event that Westminster ended up winning on goal difference after beating FAB 50-ranked McCallie School (Tenn.), which defeated Station Camp. Westminster also had wins over FAB 50-ranked Cross Keys and Bearden (Tenn.). |

Chris Smith had a big game in goal as Lambert won a state title for the second straight year. |

Creighton Prep took the lead in the match, but only 13 seconds later Edwin Cisneros tied the match for Omaha South. Omaha South, led by junior standout Abdillahi Adan, won two of the three meetings with Creighton Prep this season. |

Bearden's only loss in the team's first 13 matches this season was to Georgia power Westminster School (Ga.). Bearden pinned the only loss on FAB 50-ranked Brentwood this season. |
