NOTES: Tony Saldana scored twice in between goals by Yahir Perez and Manny Prieto as Dalton defeated FAB 50-ranked Gaines 4-1 in the state final, completing a perfect season. Wake Forest signee Omar Hernandez assisted both of Saldana's goals. The title marked the fourth for Dalton since 2013 and fifth overall. Dalton ha wins over teams from Alabama, Georgia and Tennessee. The notable results were wins over FAB 50-ranked McCallie School (Tenn.) and Gainesville, and a state semifinal victory over Pope (Ga.), a former FAB 50-ranked team.
2 (2) Jenks Jenks, OK 18-0-0*
Season Complete. Oklahoma Class 6A state champion.
School Facts: Public, 3,400 students, grades 9-12.
NOTES: Sophomore Christian Sosa converted the deciding penalty kick as Jenks edged rival Tulsa Union in a shootout following a 1-1 match. The shootout went 11 rounds between these state powers, which were meeting in the state final for the second straight season. The win gave Jenks its first state title since 2006. Andres Quintero scored Jenks' regulation goal, which at the time tied the match at 1. Jenks had key victories over Union and Oklahoma 5A state champion Bishop Kelley during the regular season. Jenks also won the Southern Soccer Challenge in Alabama, beating Randolph (Ala.), Independence (Tenn.) and Grissom (Ala.).
3 (3) Waukee Waukee, IA 17-0-0
Edi Cokovic assisted the game-winning goal in Waukee's 1-0 win over Des Moines Roosevelt and scored a goal during the team's 3-0 win over Ankeny, sending the Warriors into the state playoffs with a perfect record.
4 (4) Briar Woods Ashburn, VA 17-0-0
Josh Atkins had a goal and one assist as Briar Woods opened district postseason play with a 3-1 victory over John Champe.
5 (5) Jamestown Williamsburg, VA 14-0-0
William & Mary commit Michael Meese netted his 40th goal of the season, which came in the 71st minute, as Jamestown topped Tabb 1-0 to complete a perfect regular season.
6 (6) Westminster Schools Atlanta, GA 21-1-1*
Season Complete. Georgia Class AAA state champion.
School Facts: Private, 1,875 students, grades K-12 (800+ in 9-12).
NOTES: Weyimi Agbeyegbe, Ryan Schaufele, Michael Johnson and Charlie Ham scored the goals to carry Westminster to a 4-0 victory over Coahulla Creek. The victory marked Westminster's 14th state title. Westminster had three common opponents with Dalton and had comparable results. Westminster's lone loss was to Station Camp (Tenn.) during the Smoky Mountain Cup, an event that Westminster ended up winning on goal difference after beating FAB 50-ranked McCallie School (Tenn.), which defeated Station Camp. Westminster also had wins over FAB 50-ranked Cross Keys and Bearden (Tenn.).
7 (7) Brentwood Brentwood, TN 17-0-1
Blake Chalfant assisted the first two goals as Brentwood, which opened up a 2-0 first-half lead, held off Smyrna 3-2 to advance to this week's state quarterfinals.
8 (8) Lambert Suwanee, GA 21-1-0*
Season Complete. Georgia Class AAAAAAA state champion.
School Facts: Public, 2,900 students, grades 9-12.
NOTES: Yeonsung Lee followed up a shot by Hayden Fontana, scoring the game-winning goal as Lambert edged Lakeside is a FAB 50 Top 25 state title clash. Fontana also factored in the first goal as his shot was blocked by Lakeside's keeper, but Tyler Nadiak was there to finish the play for then a 1-0 lead. Chris Smith had a big game in goal as Lambert won a state title for the second straight year.
9 (9) Evangelical Christian Cordova, TN 16-0-2
Evangelical Christian held off upset-minded Franklin Road Academy 1-0 in triple overtime last week to advance to this week's state semifinals.
10 (10) Christian Brothers Memphis, TN 14-0-4
Christian Brothers received goals from five players in the first 46 minutes of the match en route to a 5-0 win over John Paul II. The wins sends Christian Brothers into the state semifinals.

Season Complete. South Carolina Class AAAAA state champion.
School Facts: Public, 3,875 students, grades 9-12.
NOTES: The FAB 50 preseason No. 1 team again will finish among the nation's elite following a third straight state title. Bennett Schillp scored with 11 seconds left in the third overtime session, lifting Wando to a 1-0 victory over J.L. Mann. For coach Shilo Tisdale, he has five state titles in 13 years as head coach and now sports a career record of 325-33-3.

Omaha South Omaha, NE 21-1-0*
Season Complete. Nebraska Class A state champion.
School Facts: Public, 2,615 students, grades 9-12.
NOTES: Keeper Jeramiah Gonzales made three saves in the shootout to help Omaha South to a state title victory over Creighton Prep following a 1-1 match. Omaha South and Creighton Prep has grown into a big-time Nebraska rivalry in recent years and all three of Omaha South's state titles have come against Creighton Prep. Creighton Prep took the lead in the match, but only 13 seconds later Edwin Cisneros tied the match for Omaha South. Omaha South, led by junior standout Abdillahi Adan, won two of the three meetings with Creighton Prep this season.

Columbia River Vancouver, WA 20-0-1
Jake Connop, one of the state's top returning players from 2018, scored twice and added an assist as Columbia River rolled into the state semifinals with a 4-1 win over Franklin Pierce. Columbia River is now riding a 44-match undefeated streak. The Chieftains, out to repeat as state champs, faces Fife this week, which enters with a record of 19-1-3.

South Lakes defeated Langley and McLean last week to capture the district title and carry a high seed into this week's regional tournament.

Lakeside School Seattle, WA 15-0-5
Sophomore Rafael Otero's first-half goal was enough to carry Lakeside to a 1-0 victory over Stadium and into this week's state semifinals.

Chancellor edged King George 3-2 last week to capture the district title.

School Facts: Public, 2,200 students, grades 9-12.
NOTES: Jerod Spetseris scored to answer Lambert's first goal, but Lakeside eventually lost to Lambert 2-1 in the state final. Lakside strung together a 15-match undefeated streak following a loss to North Gwinnett in order to get to the state final. North Gwinnett was the same team that handed Lambert its only loss of the season.

School Facts: Private, 1,000 students, all-boys, grades 9-12.
NOTES: Matt Anderson gave Creighton Prep a 1-0 lead over Omaha South with just under five minutes remaining in regulation, but the Junior Jays surrendered a goal 13 seconds later and eventually lost in a shootout. Creighton Prep and Omaha South split their regular season matches. Creighton signee Duncan McGuire led the Junior Jays with 19 goals.

Season Complete. Oklahoma Class 6A state runner-up.
School Facts: Public, 3,500 students, grades 10-12.
NOTES: Union pushed Jenks to the 11th round of the shootout before falling in the state final, ending a bid to repeat as state champs. Rylan Franca scored to give Union the lead with 11 minutes remaining, but Jenks rallied to force OT. Union's three defeats were to Jenks (twice) and in the Southern Coast Cup to Christian Brothers (Tenn.), a result that was never reported in Oklahoma.

Season Complete. South Carolina Class AAAAA state runner-up.
School Facts: Public, 1,750 students, grades 9-12.
NOTES: J.L. Mann's state title bid ended in a 1-0 loss to Wando in triple overtime in the final. J.L. Mann had regular season losses to Clover and Wade Hampton. The Patriots avenged the loss to Wade Hampton later in the season, then defeated Clover 1-0 in the state semifinals to reach the final with Wando.
22 (22) Deep Run Glen Allen, VA 15-1-1
Asir Taha scored twice as Deep Run closed out the regular season with a 5-0 victory over Glen Allen.

School Facts: Public, 2,200 students, grades 9-12.
NOTES: A junior-loaded lineup carried Clover to a 26-win season before falling to J.L. Mann in the state semifinals. Clover had defeated J.L. Mann during the regular season. The Blue Eagles' other loss was in a shootout in the Palmetto Cup final. Ethan Stevenson, a junior, led the team in goals scored.

West Virginia signee Kyle Lehnert had a goal and one assist and Malcolm Brickhouse had a pair of assists as Charlottesville rolled to a 4-1 win over Monticello in the district final.
