The winter season includes the following states: Arizona, California, Florida, Hawaii, Louisiana, Mississippi and Texas. The rankings are compiled by high school rankings editor Sheldon Shealer.

NOTES: Montverde Academy stretched its undefeated streak to 117 matches with a 1-0 win over Coppell (Texas) in the final of the Montverde Academy Soccer Tournament, which featured nationally ranked programs from four states. Denver commit Andre Shinyashiki scored the match-winning goal and was named tournament MVP after scoring five goals in three matches. Defensive midfielder Matius Silva has committed to Saint Louis,. Forward Lucas Fagotti has committed to St. John's. Defender Jabari Newton has committed to Memphis.
2 (2) Rivera Brownsville, TX 11-0-0
After falling behind 2-0 to former SIMA FAB 50-ranked Porter, Rivera rallied for a 4-2 win with goals from four players in the second half of the district clash.
3 (3) Buchanan Clovis, CA 16-1-1
Ryan Arkelian delivered three goals and three assists last week as Buchanan won a pair of matches. Jonah Biechler added three goals for the week.
4 (4) Colleyville Heritage Colleyville, TX 8-0-4
Colleyville Heritage leads the District 7-6A race, but this week could prove pivotal. The Panthers face perennial power Southlake Carroll and SIMA FAB 50 Coppell this week. A pair of wins will give Heritage some breathing room at the top of a tough district. A pair of losses will quickly banish this team to third place in the district.
5 (5) McKinney Boyd McKinney, TX 7-1-2
Four players delivered Boyd's four goals last week in wins over Plano (2-1) and Flower Mound Marcus (2-0).
6 (6) Coppell Coppell, TX 9-2-0
Coppell blanked Richland 2-0 in the team's only outing last week.
7 (7) Cathedral Los Angeles, CA 15-1-6
Jose Cano had a goal and one assist as Cathedral defeated Bishop Amat 3-0 last week, handing the former SIMA FAB 50-ranked team its first defeat of the season. Cano also scored a goal in the team's win over Bishop Montgomery. He has now scored in six straight matches.
8 (8) Watsonville Watsonville, CA 14-0-2
Graham Foster scored three goals last week as Watsonville defeated Gilroy and Salinas to remain undefeated. The Wildcatz clash with SIMA FAB 50-ranked Alisal on Saturday.

Gulliver Prep Miami, FL 16-1-1
Gulliver Prep scored four goals in the first half and cruised to an easy-than-expected 6-1 win over American Heritage-Delray in the regional final. The Raiders scored 15 goals in three regional playoff contests, and now advance to this week;'s 2A state semifinals.

Despite an undefeated season, El Camino's Real's bid for the league title will come down to its regular-season finale this week against Granada Hills. Granada Hills is 7-1 in league play while El Camino Real is 6-0-2.

Santi Cardenas scored in both matches last week as El Segundo defeated Culver City and Hawthorne.

Khalid Francis and Alex Rippeon scored the goals to lead El Toro to a 2-1 win over Mission Viejo in the team's only outing last week.

Joseph LaCasto netted the lone goal as Servite defeated league rival Santa Margarita 1-0 in a battle of perennial SIMA FAB 50 programs.

North Mesquite and Mesquite Horn clash Tuesday in a battle of SIMA FAB 50-ranked programs. Bryan Diaz led North Mesquite's offense last week, scoring three goals in the team's 4-1 win over Berkner.

Choctawhatchee Fort Walton Beach, FL 28-0-1
Shane Nicholson and Khalee Wilson each scored twice as Choctawhatchee escaped a 4-3 win over Ponte Vedra to advance to this week's Class 3A state semifinals and a clash with No. 22 Sunlake.

Nicholas Arboleda scored twice as Cypress Bay pulled away for a 5-1 rout of Varela in the regional final, sending the Lightning to the state semifinals for the fourth time in the past five seasons. Cypress Bay won state titles the last three times it reached the semifinals.

Grand Prairie defeated regionally ranked South Grand Prairie 2-0 to take control on the District 8-6A race.

Austin Day scored the team''s only goal in a 1-1 draw with Frisco Liberty. The result keeps Centennial undefeated in district play and near the top of the district standings along with SIMA FAB 50-ranked Frisco Wakeland.

Loyola ran its undefeated streak to 10 matches with a 2-1 win over St. Francis last week. The victory secured the Mission League title for the Cubs, which have a 9-0-1 league mark. Second-place Harvard-Westlake has three league losses.

Brendan Duran netted the only goal as Wiregrass Ranch got past defending state champion Melbourne 1-0 to advance to this week's Class 4A state semifinals.

Brophy pushed its undefeated streak to 11 matches with a 2-0 victory over Sunnyslope in the Arizona Division I quarterfinals. The Broncos clash with state No. 2 Chandler in the semifinals this week. Brophy's last loss was to Los Angeles Cathedral (Calif.) in December.

NOTES: Junior Zack Bailey scored both goals as Madison Central won a second straight state title with a 2-0 win over Ocean Springs. Madison Central outshot Ocean Springs 28-3 in the final. Madison Central's only loss this season was a 2-1 setback to St. Paul's (La.).
