The winter high school season includes the following states: Arizona, California, Florida, Hawaii, Louisiana, Mississippi and Texas. The rankings are compiled by high school rankings editor Sheldon Shealer.

Loyola posted an impressive 3-0 win over St. John Bosco to highlight its play last week.

Unlike past years, Buchanan is sticking to mostly a local schedule. Perhaps the most interesting contest on that schedule occurs this week as the Bears clash with Jesuit, which is making the move from fall to winter soccer.
