Angel Bacho and Jose Gallegos paced Central Catholic to a 4-0 showing at the North Texas Elite Showcase, defeating three FAB 50 Top 25 teams. The Buttons knocked off Sam Houston to start the event, then defeated former No. 1 Loyola (Calif.) 2-1 in the semifinals before ousting Downey (Calif.) in the division final. Central Catholic then defeated Cathedral (Calif.) in the overall championship match. Bacho had three goals and four assists.
