FAB 50 High School Soccer Team Rankings

The fall season includes the following states: California (fall), Connecticut, D.C., Idaho, Indiana, Kentucky, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota, Montana, Nevada, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New Mexico, New York, Ohio, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, South Dakota, Tennessee, Utah, Vermont, Virginia (private), Washington, West Virginia.
The rankings are compiled by high school rankings editor Sheldon Shealer.

Maria Carrillo netted 23 goals in three matches last week, winning each match by at least six goals. Things will get more interesting for the Pumas this week as they play host to Bishop O'Connell (Va.) and No. 12 Good Counsel (Md.).
2 (2) Northern Highlands Allendale, NJ 1-0-0
Virginia commit Hana Kerner scored three goals as Northern Highlands opened the season with a 7-0 win over Hackensack.

Lenape opened regular-season play Monday against Moorestown.

Lindsey Fujiwara and Kelli Sullivan staked Skyline to a 2-0 lead, and the team held on for a 2-1 victory over Tualatin (Ore.) in a Top 25 showdown. Tualatin is the defending large school state champion.

Six players got into the scoring act — three scoring goals, three others serving up assists — as Pennington started its season with a 3-0 win over Penn Charter (Pa.).

North Carolina commit Bridgette Andrejewski scored five goals as McDonogh ripped Norte Dame (N.J.) 7-0 in the Eagles' lone match at its McDonogh Invitational. Notre Dame started the season ranked No. 19 in New Jersey by The Star-Ledger.

The result, coupled with losses by many top Ohio teams, resulted in a major jump in the rankings for Hudson. After all, Hudson — with a perfect record — now has a win over a team that tied Ohio No. 3 Walsh Jesuit.
