FAB 50 High School Soccer Team Rankings

The fall season includes the following states: California (fall sections only), Connecticut, D.C., Idaho, Indiana, Kentucky, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota, Montana, Nevada, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New Mexico, New York, Ohio, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, South Dakota, Tennessee, Utah, Vermont, Virginia (private), Washington, West Virginia.

The rankings are compiled by high school rankings editor Sheldon Shealer.

Notre Dame commit Eva Hurm scored twice as Northern Highlands, after leading 1-0 at halftime, pulled away for a 4-0 win over Montclair in a battle of defending state champions. Montclair had its 22-match win streak ended in the loss.
2 (2) McDonogh School Owings Mills, MD 7-0-0
North Carolina commit Bridgette Andrewszewski netted three goals and North Carolina State commit Kia Rankin added two as McDonogh rolled to a 6-0 victory over Pennington School (N.J.).

Davis Kaysville, UT 16-0-0
Davis wrapped up one of the most dominating regular-season performances in Utah large-school history, outscoring its opponents 100-7. BYU commits Olivia Wade and Mikayla Colohan have combined for 43 goals and Utah commit Ireland Dunn has added 17.

Walsh Jesuit Cuyahoga Falls, OH 13-0-1
Cincinnati commit Gabby LoPresti had a goal and one assist and freshman Isabella Rosalina scored twice as Walsh Jesuit pulled away in the second half for a 5-1 win Archbishop Hoban in a contest pitting the state's No. 1-ranked Division I vs. Division II teams.

Cumberland Valley Mechanicsburg, PA 13-0-0
North Carolina commit Rachael Dorwart scored seven goals and had one assist last week as Cumberand Valley rolled up 6-0 wins over Carlisle and State College.

Houston Germantown, TN 16-0-0
Houston edged Collierville 1-0 last week to highlight a two-win week for the state's top-ranked program. Houston has posted 14 shutouts and allowed only three goals this season.

Maria Carrillo Santa Rosa, CA 11-2-0
Madison Gonzalez and Bria VarnBuhler each had a goal and one assist as Maria Carrllo ran past Montgomery 4-1 in a battle of national Top 25 programs. The Pumas' win exacted a measure of revenge for an earlier loss to Montgomery.

Glastonbury Glastonbury, CT 11-0-0
Glastonbury won three matches last week by a 10-1 margin to retain the top ranking among the Connecticut programs.

St. Joseph Trumbull, CT 10-0-0
Playing without Jenna Bike, who was called into U.S. Soccer Youth National Team training, St. Joseph managed a 4-3 win over Westhill and a 3-0 victory over Ridgefield. Lindsey Savko sparked the team's win over Westhill with two goals.

Somers Lincolndale, NY 13-0-0
Hannon Eberts had two goals and one assist, including the game-winning goal, as Somers defeated North Rockland 5-2 in overtime in a battle between the Lower Hudson's top two teams. The match was tied at 2 after regulation. Eberts' second goal made it 3-2 before Somers salted the game with two more scores.

Julia Lindsay scored four goals last week as Ridge stayed perfect with wins over Franklin and Hillsborough.

Colts Neck Colts Neck, NJ 11-0-1
Penn State commit Frankie Tagliaferri scored six goals and Vermont commit Bridgette King added four last week as Colts Neck won three matches.

Perrysburg Perrysburg, OH 14-0-0
Four different players scored the goals as Perrysburg handled Magnificat 4-0 last week. The one-sided win resulted in Perrysburg jumping from No. 3 to No. 2 over Medina, since Medina had earlier tied Magnificat.

Montgomery Santa Rosa, CA 12-1-0
Montgomery's perfect season and bid for a Top 3 national finish was put to the side in a 4-1 loss to rival Maria Carrillo last week. Montgomery won the early meeting between the teams. They are likely to see each other in the section final.

Medina Medina, OH 11-0-3
Medina shut out Elyria and Massillon Jackson last week by a combined 14-0 margin. The Bees wrap up regular season play this week against a pair of quality opponents in Brunswick and SIMA FAB 50 No. 26 Hudson.

Issaquah Issaquah, WA 9-0-2
Siarafo Abekah netted the game-winner as Issaquah held off Inglemoor 3-2. Kirstie Johnson scored the first two goals. Abekah also scored twice as Issaquah defeated Bothell earlier in the week.

Taylor Kofton scored the first goal in both matches to jumpstart wins over Duxbury and Pembroke. Kofton ended with three goals in the two matches, while Taylor Robertson scored once in each match.

Wins over North Penn and Hatboro-Horsham put Central Bucks East on the doorstep on the Suburban One Continental League title. CB East needs only one win in its last four regular-season matches to secure the title.

Gabriela Prieto, Alexa Svensson and Nadie Russo combined for five goals last week as Commack posted three shutout wins.

Kristina Lynch scored three goals as Penn defeated South Bend Adams 4-0 to advance in the Indiana playoffs.

Independence Thompson's Station, TN 11-0-1
Independence's 5-1 win over Battle Ground Academy last week completed quite a turnaround for the state's No. 2-ranked team. BGA was one of four teams that defeated Independence in the regular season last year with a combined margin of 11-3. Against those same four this year, Independence is 3-0-1 with a 14-4 scoring edge.

Dublin Jerome boys and girls varsity teams are a combined 23-0-4 this season, which makes the Celtics one of only two schools with teams in both the SIMA FAB 50 boys and girls Top 25s.

Sophia Gulati scored twice as IHA fended off a major upset bid by Fair Lawn with a 3-2 decision in the opening round of county tournament play.

Arizona State-bound midfielder Christian Edwards is a part of a Summit team that is rolling through Class 5A competition in Oregon. The team has outscored its opponents 47-1 through 10 matches.

Leah Dentzle had two goals and one assist in the team's 3-0 win over Half Hollow Hills East. Sienna Cassillo, meanwhile, netted the lone goal in the team's 1-0 victory over Connetquot.
