FAB 50 High School Soccer Team Rankings

The fall season includes the following states: California (fall sections only), Connecticut, D.C., Idaho, Indiana, Kentucky, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota, Montana, Nevada, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New Mexico, New York, Ohio, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, South Dakota, Tennessee, Utah, Vermont, Virginia (private), Washington, West Virginia.

The rankings are compiled by high school rankings editor Sheldon Shealer.

Georgetown commit Casey Richards scored four goals and had three assists while Notre Dame commit Eva Hurm added two goals and two assists last week as Northern Highlands defeated Paramus 4-0 and Hackensack 7-0.
2 (2) McDonogh School Owings Mills, MD 1-0-0
North Carolina State commit Kia Rankin scored twice as McDonogh defeated Bishop Ireton (Va.) 4-1 to salvage one match at the McDonogh Invitational, which was mostly wiped out by rain.
3 (3) Montclair Montclair, NJ 3-0-0
Maryland commit Jillian Jennings had a goal and three assists as Montclair posted wins over Millburn and Caldwell last week.
4 (4) St. Anthony's Melville, NY 1-0-0
Kayle Arestivo, Sabrina Cristodero and Miranda Ozimek scored scored twice as St. Anthony's opened its season with a 7-1 victory over Padua (Ohio) last week.
5 (5) Medina Medina, OH 6-0-1
Medina posted a pair of one-sided wins last week, leaving Liz Ash with seven goals as the team's top scorer on the year and Loren Sefcik right behind with six.
6 (6) Carmel Carmel, IN 9-0-1
Macy Miller had three goals and two assists while Katie Soderstrom added a goal and four assists in Carmel's wins over Lawrence Central and Lawrence North last week.
7 (7) Maria Carrillo Santa Rosa, CA 4-1-0
Bria VarnBuhler scored twice to highlight Maria Carrillo's 5-0 win over Windsor.
8 (8) Montgomery Santa Rosa, CA 6-0-0
Natalie Barragan scored a pair of goals as Montgomery defeated Casa Grande 4-1. This week, Montgomery clashes with Maria Carrillo for the first of likely three matches between the programs this fall.
9 (9) Colts Neck Colts Neck, NJ 3-0-0
Penn State commit Frankie Tagliaferri scored three goals in each of Colt Neck's wins over Pennington School and Wall last week.
10 (10) Davis Kaysville, UT 9-0-0
Ireland Dunn scored three goals last week as Davis defeated Viewmont and Syracuse.
11 (11) Walsh Jesuit Cuyahoga Falls, OH 5-0-1
Walsh Jesuit handed Padua a 7-2 defeat last week to remain undefeated.
12 (12) Immaculate Heart Academy Twp. of Washington, NJ 1-1-0
IHA got back into the win column with a 3-1 decision over Paramus Catholic in the team's first outing since a loss to Maria Carrillo (Calif.).
13 (13) Brebeuf Jesuit Indianapolis, IN 9-1-0
Shaili Kumar netted five goals last week as Brebeuf Jesuit won four matches, including a 2-0 decision of state-ranked Fort Wayne Carroll.

Houston scored 14 goals in three wins at the Rivals Tournament, and made a statement with a 5-1 decision over Holy Name (Ohio).

Sabrina Glaser, Victoria Kretzmer and Eden Baker scored goals to lead Glastonbury to a 3-1 victory over Northwest Catholic.

Eagan stayed perfect with a pair of 2-1 wins over Lakeville North and Park of Cottage Grove, sending both teams to their first losses of the season.

Rachael Dorwart had five goals and four assists while Jenny Bail added five goals as Cumberland Valley rolled up three victories.

Freshman Cierra Ramirez scored two goals, the second coming with a minute left, as Volcano Vista defeated St. Pius 2-1 in a battle of SIMA FAB 50-ranked teams.

After beating Tualatin (Ore.) in a battle of state No. 1 teams, Issaquah was held to a scoreless draw with Sherwood (Ore.). Alina Ruzicka scored Issaquah's goal in the 1-0 win over Tualatin.

Noblesville, known for its defense, turned to its offense for wins over Westfield and Homestead last week. The Millers scored eight goals in the two outings.
