FAB 50 High School Soccer Team Rankings

The fall season includes the following states: California (fall sections only), Connecticut, D.C., Idaho, Indiana, Kentucky, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota, Montana, Nevada, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New Mexico, New York, Ohio, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, South Dakota, Tennessee, Utah, Vermont, Virginia (private), Washington, West Virginia.

The rankings are compiled by high school rankings editor Sheldon Shealer.

Ariel Somple delivered the game winner as Northern Highlands edged Hunterdon Central 2-1 in dramatic fashion. Somple's goal came in the final minute of overtime.

North Carolina commit Bridgette Andrzejewski scored both goals, the second one bouncing off her chest as she crashed the goal on a corner kick, to lead McDonogh to a 2-1 win over SIMA FAB 50-ranked Immaculate Heart Academy (N.J.). McDonogh and IHA finished 1-2 in the SIMA FAB 50 last year.

Maryland commit Jillian Jennings had three goals and one assist last week as Montclair defeated Glen Ridge and Nutley.

Montgomery Santa Rosa, CA 10-0-0
Scoring became a family affair for the Ziemers last week as sophomore Tera Ziemer scored twice while Virginia-bound older sister Taylor scored once in the team's 3-0 win over Cardinal Newman.

BYU commit Olivia Wade had a hat trick in both of Davis' outings last week, a pair of 8-0 wins over Granger and Salt Lake City West. Wade has 25 goals on the season.

Sofia Rossi scored a late goal to lift Walsh Jesuit to a 1-0 win over Olentangy Orange last week. Olentangy Orange now has three one-goal losses to SIMA FAB 50 teams. Rossi also scored twice in the Warriors' 7-0 win over Beaumont last week.

Emily Roberts scored twice as Carmel handed Zionsville a 3-0 defeat, right after Zionsville had posted a win over for Top 25-ranked Brebeuf Jesuit.

Houston got an own goal to get things started then Lauren Cormany added the clincher in a 2-0 win over Briarcrest Christian in a meeting between top Memphis-area programs.

Sophomore Rachael Dorwart, a North Carolina commit, scored five goals and had three assists as Cumberland Valley won three matches last week.

Bridgette King has taken over the scoring load with Penn State commit Franki Tagliaferri out, scoring five goals with two assists in the team's two wins last week.

Perrysburg has shut out its last eight opponents and has allowed only one goal this season. These Yellow Jackets are starting to resemble the 2012 team that went 23-0 with 19 shut outs en route to a state title.
