FAB 50 High School Soccer Team Rankings

The fall season includes the following states: California (fall section only), Connecticut, D.C., Idaho, Indiana, Kentucky, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota, Montana, Nevada, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New Mexico, New York, Ohio, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, South Dakota, Tennessee, Utah, Vermont, Virginia (private), Washington, West Virginia.

The rankings are compiled by high school rankings editor Sheldon Shealer.

Davis, the two-time defending state champs, enter the Utah 5A playoffs this week -- four wins from a second straight perfect season and a SIMA FAB 50 No. 1 ranking. Junior Olivia Wade, a BYU commit, has 36 goals through 16 matches.

Claire Nam had three goals and two assists last week as Northern Highlands won three matches.

Florida State commit Kristina Lynch scored hat tricks in both of Penn's playoff wins last week, pushing her season total to 32 goals.

Regan Ward delivered her fourth multi-goal game during Strongsville's 5-0 victory over Solon in its only outing last week.

Medina's 1-0 victory over Massillon Jackson last week marked the team's 10th straight shutout. The Bees face regionally ranked Brunswick this week before heading to the playoffs the week after.

Mariah Van Halm scored four goals last week as Issaquah handled Mount Si (5-0) and Bothell (7-2).

Jillian Hildreth delivered a hat trick in Houston's 4-0 victory over then state No. 2-ranked Collierville. Houston starts postseason play this week.

Sabrina Cristodero had four goals and one assist and New Hampshire commit Francesca Picicci added two goals and three assists last week as St. Anthony's cruised to one-sided wins over St. John the Baptist and Holy Trinity.

Rutgers commit Amirah Ali scored five goals and had one assist as Eastern went 2-0-1 last week.
10 (10) Glastonbury Glastonbury, CT 9-0-0
Glastonbury goes for a state record 50th consecutive game without a loss this week when it takes on Avon on Thursday. The Tomahawks tied the record of 49, set by the Trumbull teams of the late 1990s, with an 8-0 victory over Conard. Caroline Bogue led the way with five goals.
11 (11) Central Catholic Lawrence, MA 11-0-0
Central Catholic rolled to a pair of 5-0 victories over Tewksbury and Haverhill last week to remain undefeated and ranked No. 1 in the Boston area and state.
12 (12) Parkland Allentown, PA 15-0-0
Parkland had a couple close calls last week, edging Allentown Central Catholic 1-0 in OT on a Brooke Schutter goal and holding off Nazareth 1-0 on a goal by Helen Flynn.

Cara Thomas and Dani Cady scored two goals each as Pennsbury defeated Hershey 6-3 last week in a rare regular season match between District 1 and District 3 programs. Pennsbury clases with SIMA FAB 50-ranked Neshaminy this week.

Walsh Jesuit's undefeated run ended at 104 matches (97-0-7) in a loss to Lake Catholic. Walsh had not lost since the 2011 state semifinals.

Julia Ophals scored twice as Massapequa defeated East Meadow 3-0 last week. Massapequa faces the No. 2 and 3 teams in the league this week and a pair of victories will secure another league title.

Northport clashes with St. Anthony's on Friday in a rare meeting between top-ranked public and Catholic schools in Long Island.

Sophie Hirst scored seven goals last week as Seattle Prep won three matches. The junior Boston College commit's key performance was netting both goals in a 2-1 win over Lakeside.

Yale commit Ciara Ostrander had five goals and one assist while UConn commit Melina Couzis added two goals and three assists last week as Somers swept three matches.

Spring-Ford won three matches, scored 16 goals, yet no player had more than one goal in any match last week.

Skyline Sammamish, WA 8-0-2
Sophomore Maddie Butz, a defender, scored the lone goal in Skyline's 1-0 victory over Bothell.
21 (21) Toledo Notre Dame Toledo, OH 11-0-2
In a clash between high-ranking teams in Toledo and Cincinnati, Toledo Notre Dame and Cincinnati Mount Notre Dame played to a 1-1 draw. The result marked only the third goal allowed this year by the Toledo squad.

Avon Avon, IN 15-1-1
Miranda Ricks' two-goal performance helped Avon pull away from Moorefield and advance to this week's regional semifinal. The Orioles will take on Guerin Catholic, which upset favored Carmel last week.

Brebeuf Jesuit Indianapolis, IN 18-1-1
Arizona commit Hallie Pearson, a junior, and Page Eden, a freshman, each scored three goals in Brebeuf Jesuit's 8-0 playoff opening win over Pike. Michigan commit Alia Martin then scored twice in the Braves' 5-0 win over Ben Davis.

McDonogh School Owings Mills, MD 5-1-2
North Carolina commit Julia Dorsey, a sophomore, had a goal and one assist, and two freshmen scored as McDonogh defeated Cumberland Valley (Pa.) 3-0, capping a big two-win week. The Eagles also avenged their only loss with a victory over league rival Archbishop Spalding.

Loveland clashes with Milford this week in a battle of teams with undefeated league records in the Eastern Cincinnati Conference. Regardless of the outcome, Loveland has clinched the league title as two ties by Milford leaves the team four points behind entering the Tuesday match.
