FAB 50 High School Soccer Team Rankings

The fall season includes the following states: California (fall section only), Connecticut, D.C., Idaho, Indiana, Kentucky, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota, Montana, Nevada, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New Mexico, New York, Ohio, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, South Dakota, Tennessee, Utah, Vermont, Virginia (private), Washington, West Virginia.

The rankings are compiled by high school rankings editor Sheldon Shealer.

Mikayla Colohan and Lindsay DiReda scored the goals as Davis defeated Weber 2-0 in the state quarterfinals. Colohan and Olivia Wade, both committed to BYU, combined for the three goals in the 3-0 playoff-opening win over Jordan.
2 (2) Northern Highlands Allendale, NJ 12-0-0
Julia Homan scored the lone goal in Northern Highlands' 1-0 midweek win over rival Immaculate Heart Academy last week. Notre Dame commit Eva Hurm scored twice in a 3-0 conference tournament win over Indian Hills on Sunday.
3 (3) Penn Mishawaka, IN 19-0-1
Florida State commit Kristina Lynch had a staggering five goals and eight assists in two playoff matches last week as Penn rolled to a pair of victories by a combined 16-1 margin.
4 (4) Strongsville Strongsville, OH 15-0-1
Lauren Rakytiak scored three goals and had one assist in Strongsville's 6-0 win over Hathaway Brown to close regular season play.
5 (5) Medina Medina, OH 15-0-1
Brunswick ended Medina's shutout streak at 10 matches, still Medina posted a 3-1 victory over the former SIMA FAB 50-ranked team to close out the regular season.

St. Anthony's Melville, NY 11-0-0
Francesca Picicci scored twice in St. Anthony's 6-0 win over St. Dominic in the team's only outing last week.

Glastonbury Glastonbury, CT 11-0-0
Caroline Bogue had a pair of two-goal performances in Glastonbury's record-setting week. The Tomahawk's 5-0 victory over Avon established a state record with their 50th straight win Glastonbury then tacked on consecutive win No. 51 in a 3-0 victory over Northwest Catholic.

Central Catholic Lawrence, MA 13-0-0
Central Catholic has the top three scorers in the MVC league this year, reinforcing the team's local dominance. The scary part, for opponents, all three are juniors.

Brooke Schutter had five goals and three assists last week as Parkland rolled up for more wins in its perfect season.

Walsh Jesuit Cuyahoga Falls, OH 15-1-0
Walsh Jesuit wrapped up the regular season with a 3-0 win over Bishop Watterson. The Warriors will now attempt to win a fifth straight state title.

Eastern shut out all three opponents last week, but a scoreless draw with Washingtown Township cost the team a few spots in this week's SIMA FAB 50.

Hope Breslin scored three goals as Massapequa defeated Port Jefferson 6-0 in the team's only outing last week.

Seattle Prep's second run through league play is going very much like the first -- complete wins. Last week Seattle Prep defeated Eastside Catholic and Holy Names Academy for the second time this season.

Somers is riding a shutout streak in excess of a month as the playoffs near. The team is ranked No. 1 in the LoHud rankings.

Brebeuf Jesuit Indianapolis, IN 20-1-1
Michigan commit Alia Martin scored both goals as two-time defending state champ Brebeuf Jesuit claimed a regional title with a 2-0 win over upstart Guerin Catholic. Guerin, which played .500 ball during the regular season, upset former SIMA FAB 50-ranked Carmel and Avon to reach the region final.

Issaquah and Skyline played to a scoreless draw for the second time this season.

Skyline's chance to slip past Issaquah in the league standings slipped away i a scoreless tie between the perennial state title challengers.

McDonogh defeated Mercy 3-1 in its only match last week. This week the Eagles play three matches, ending with a showdown in Long Island with Massapequa (N.Y.).

Danielle Kenyon scored twice as Loveland, with multiple Division I commits, finished an undefeated regular season with a 5-0 victory over Lebanon.

Brooke Mullin scored the lone goal as Neshaminy edged Pennsbury 2-1 to highlight a two-win week.

Pennsbury Fairless Hills, PA 12-1-0
Pennsbury fell from the ranks of the undefeated in a 1-0 loss to Neshaminy, a team it beat earlier in the season.

Spring-Ford Royersford, PA 17-0-1
A draw with unranked Boyertown led to Spring-Ford sliding behind a pair of fellow District 1 powers Neshaminy and Pennsbury. Juliana Alessandroni and Brynn Budka scored the goals as Spring-Ford defeated Cumberland Valley 2-0.

Hingham Hingham, MA 12-0-1
Junior forward Caroline Harkins scored both goals as Hingham edged Whitman-Hanson 2-1 in a clash of nationally ranked teams last week. The result prevented Whitman-Hanson coach David Floeck from his 300th coaching victory.
