FAB 50 High School Soccer Team Rankings

The fall season includes the following states: Connecticut, D.C., Idaho, Indiana, Kentucky, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota, Montana, Nevada, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New Mexico, New York, Ohio, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, South Dakota, Tennessee, Utah, Vermont, Virginia (private), Washington, West Virginia.

The rankings are compiled by high school rankings editor Sheldon Shealer.

1 (1) Penn Mishawaka, IN 20-0-1
Florida State commit Kristina Lynch scored two goals and had two assists as Penn defeated Northridge 4-0 to reach the regional final. In Indiana, the regional semifinals and final are played on the same day, but in this case, heavy rain caused Penn's final against Munster to get pushed back to Monday.
2 (2) Arlington LaGrangeville, NY 15-0-0
Michaela Fasolino scored four goals last week in Arlington wins over Somers and Mahopac during a three-win week. The team's 4-1 win over Somers marked the first -- and only -- goal Arlington has allowed this year.
3 (3) Portland Jesuit Portland, OR 12-0-0
California commit Emma Treasure scored eight goals and Callan Harrington added six last week as Jesuit cruised to a pair of league wins over Westview and Liberty. The Crusaders have outscored their opponents 57-0 this season.
4 (4) Northern Highlands Allendale, NJ 13-0-0
Northern Highlands squeaked out a pair of wins last week, edging rival Immaculate Heart Academy 1-0 on a Joanna Kelly goal, assisted by Claudia Dipasupil, and beating Ridgewood 1-0 in the Bergen County quarterfinals on a goal by Dipasupil.

Houston Germantown, TN 19-0-0
Germantown Houston was scheduled to play a regional semifinal match Monday against Whitehaven in a match where the Mustangs will be heavily favored.

Walsh Jesuit Cuyahoga Falls, OH 15-0-1
Walsh Jesuit edged Villa Maria Academy (Pa.) 1-0 and then closed out an undefeated regular season with a 4-1 victory over Bishop Watterson. Villa Maria Academy is 12-2-1 this year and both losses were to highly ranked Ohio programs.

Central Catholic Lawrence, MA 12-0-1
Boston University commit Ashley Raphael ha a big week, scoring three goals in the team's 7-0 win over Lowell to push her over the 100-point career mark. She scored twice in a Sunday win over Needham.

Freehold Township Freehold, NJ 15-0-0
Either Jada or Jasmine Colbert scored a goal in each of Freehold Township's three wins last week.

Whitman-Hanson Whitman, MA 11-0-2
Whitman-Hanson handled North Quincy 7-0 but also played ti a tie with Silver Lake last week.

St. Anthony's Melville, NY 11-0-0
Lauren Haggerty scored the game-winner in St. Anthony's 1-0 victory over St. John the Baptist. Brianna Passano had a goal and three assists in a 6-0 win over Archbishop Molloy.

Guerin Catholic Noblesville, IN 15-1-1
Megan Wampler had a goal and one assist as Guerin Catholic handed East Central its first loss of the year in a 3-0 section final. Guerin moves on to the semi-state championship game with Columbus North. In the other half of the draw, top-ranked Penn faces FAB 50-ranked Noblesville.

Urbana Ijamsville, MD 11-0-1
Urbana shut out South Hagerstown (8-0) and Walkersville (3-0) last week. The Hawks have allowed only one goal this year, but faces their stiffest challenge of the year this week in a Thursday showdown with FAB 50 No. 13 Archbishop Spalding.

Spalding scored twice in the final 10 minutes to rally for a 2-1 win over Notre Dame Prep. Fifi Iluyomade scored the game-winner with five minutes remaining.

Katie Butler delivered a second-half goal to lead Westfield to a 1-0 win over Gov. Livingston last week.

Northport Northport, NY 12-0-0
Victoria Colatosti scored twice and had an assist as Northport defeated Bay Shore 8-1 in the team's only outing last week.

Wayzata Minneapolis, MN 14-0-3
Northwestern commit Madison Lo recorded the shutout as Wayzata blanked Cretin-Derham Hall 3-0 in the Class AA Section 6 semifinal. The victory sets up a clash with FAB 50-ranked Washburn on Tuesday.

While Washington commits Claudia Longo and Mariah Van Halm combined for six goals last week, it was Tori Wheeler who put on a show -- with four goals and two assists in a pair of wins.

Strongsville Strongsville, OH 11-1-4
In a surprising final week of regular season play, Strongsville was upset by state-ranked Perrysburg 3-2. Both teams are in the same playoff classification and could meet again later this month.

Medina Medina, OH 13-1-2
Medina and Jackson played to a scoreless draw last week. Medina's seniors posted a four-year record of 53-3-9.
20 (20) McDonogh School Owings Mills, MD 11-2-2
McDonogh defeated Patterson Mill in a non-league game, then edged Mercy 2-1 to stay in second place in the IAAM A Conference before Archbishop Spalding.
21 (21) Parkland Allentown, PA 19-0-0
Brooke Schutter scored six goals last week as Parkland rolled off four shutout victories. Julia Buchman spent time in goal in all four matches, and has been apart of six straight shutouts. Helen Flynn delivered a four-assist match in the team's 7-0 victory over Whitehall last week.

Carmel Carmel, IN 15-2-2*
Season Complete. Indiana Class 3A section runner-up.
School Facts: Public, 4,830 students, grades 9-12.
NOTES: Carmel's season ended with a shootout loss to Guerin Catholic in the section final. Both of the Greyhounds' losses this season were to Guerin, which included a 1-0 setback earlier in the year. The section final result leaves longtime coach Frank Dixon on 499 career victories. During the regular season, Carmel had key wins over Toledo Notre Dame Academy (Ohio) and Noblesville and the Greyhounds tied Penn. During the postseason, Carmel pinned a 3-0 defeat on previously undefeated Brebeuf Jesuit. Junior Ashley Witucki, a Purdue commit, had two goals and one assist, sophomore Kelsie James, a Valparaiso commit, had a goal and senior standout Katie Soderstrom, a Butler commit, had two assists.

Cumberland Valley edged Spring-Ford 2-1 last week in a battle of state-ranked teams.

Cleveland Rio Rancho, NM 17-1-0
Cibola entered the season favored, but Cleveland has certainly taken over that title and reinforced it last week with a 4-0 win over Cibola. Madyson Barela scored two goals. Kailey Pena and Corey Kizer each had a goal and two assists.

Moon Moon, PA 17-0-0
Moon cruised to wins over South Fayette, Montour and Seneca Valley last week. The PIAA Class 3A defending champions have outscored its opponents 77-5 this season. Moon is riding a 34-match win streak.
