FAB 50 High School Soccer Team Rankings

The fall season includes the following states: Connecticut, D.C., Idaho, Indiana, Kentucky, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota, Montana, Nevada, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New Mexico, New York, Ohio, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, South Dakota, Tennessee, Utah, Vermont, Virginia (private), Washington, West Virginia.

The rankings are compiled by high school rankings editor Sheldon Shealer.

After a pair of double-digit wins early in the week, Norwin got a test from Seneca Valley before emerging with a 2-1 win thanks to a second-half goal to break a 1-1 tie.
2 (2) Penn Mishawaka, IN 11-0-1
Florida State commit Kristina Lynch scored eight goals as Penn won three matches last week. The senior has a team-best 25 goals this season.
3 (3) Central Catholic Lawrence, MA 3-0-0
Boston University commit Elayna Grillakis scored twice in the team’s 7-0 win over Chelmsford, giving the senior a school record 62 career goals.
4 (4) Arlington LaGrangeville, NY 4-0-0
While Notre Dame commit Molly Feighan scored, it was Meggie Buttinger who stole the headlines, scoring a goal on her birthday in Arlington’s 5-0 win over Clarkstown.

Whitman-Hanson Whitman, MA 3-0-0
UMass commit Lauren Bonavita scored twice in a 22-second span to lift Whitman-Hanson to a 3-1 win over Hingham in a battle of state-ranked teams. Whitman-Hanson also defeated Silver Lake 2-0 and Pembroke 6-1 last week.

Tarah Roller had a goal and two assists in Medina's 4-0 win over Mentor, moving her into eighth place on the school's all-time scoring list.

Portland Jesuit Portland, OR 5-0-0
Gonzaga commit Sophia Braun had four goals and one assists, California commit Emma Treasure had two goals and four assists and Callan Harrington had three goals and one assist in a pair of Jesuit victories last week. Notre Dame commit Mary Votava and freshman Olivia Juarez shared the shutouts in goal.

Northern Highlands Allendale, NJ 4-0-0
Claudia Dipasupil had two goals and two assists in Northern Highlands wins over Indian Hills and Ridgewood. Both of her scores came in the 2-1 win over Indiana Hills.

Strongsville Strongsville, OH 7-0-1
Cincinnati commit Vanessa DiNardo had a pair of two-goal outings as Strongsville handled Brunswick and North Royalton last week.

Walsh Jesuit Cuyahoga Falls, OH 7-0-1
Isabella Rosalina scored the goal to put Walsh Jesuit ahead 1-0 in what ended up as a 1-1 draw with Jackson.

The Tomahawks defeated Avon 3-0 and Berlin 1-0 to extend their win streak to 63 matches.

Daniella Roni had three goals last week, including a pair of game-winners as Skyline won three contests.

Houston dealt defending state champ Clarksville a 4-1 setback last week, even furthering its case for state No. 1. Molly Rose, Memphis commit Jenna Kemp, Emma Riales and Maddie Eskin scored the goals as Houston opened up a 4-0 lead before Clarksville scored for the final margin.

Brianna Arthur scored a goal in each match as Brebeuf posted shutout wins over Cathedral, Roncalli and Fishers.

Caitlin Kennedy had two goals and two assists last week to pace the offense as Sacred Heart posted three wins. Kennedy scored the game-winner against Garden City and assisted the game-winner against Kellenberg.

Tennessee commit Abbey Burdette scored a goal in each match as Urbana defeated Middletown and Tuscarora – both schools with state titles to their credit in recent years. This week, Urbana clashes with Good Counsel with the state’s No. 1 ranking on the line.

Mariah Van Halm had hat tricks in both of Issaquah's wins last week, beating Inglemoor and Mount Si.

Paige Farrell had a goal and one assist as Freehold scored three second-half goals in a 3-1 win over Wall in a battle of nationally ranked teams to highlight the week.

Noblesville tied Zionsville and defeated Brownsburg last week, which allows the team to go into its most important regular season week with an undefeated record. This week, Noblesville takes on Top 25-ranked Carmel and Penn.

Nicole Gordon scored twice as St. Anthony’s handled St. Francis Prep 7-1 in the team’s lone match last week.

Senior Cassidy Lindley, a Florida commit, scored three goals last week, including the game-winner in a 1-0 decision over Evansville Memorial last week. Senior Elle Vuotto scored twice in three games and freshman Quincy McMahon delivered five assists.

Gonzaga commit Maddie Kemp scored six goals last week as Camas defeated Sherwood (Ore.) and Tumwater. Jenna Ephraimson added a hat trick in the victory over Tumwater.

American Fork edged Pleasant Grove and Bingham last week in one-goal contests. Although American Fork is a clear No. 1 in Utah right now, the team has been living on the edge -- six of the team's wins have been one-goal decisions.
