FAB 50 High School Soccer Team Rankings

The fall season includes the following states: Connecticut, D.C., Idaho, Indiana, Kentucky, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota, Mississippi (independent schools) Montana, Nevada, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New Mexico, New York, Ohio, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, South Dakota, Tennessee, Utah, Vermont, Virginia (private), Washington, West Virginia.

The rankings are compiled by high school rankings editor Sheldon Shealer.

Tennessee commit Lilly McCarthy scored three goals and added an assist as McDonogh stormed past former state-ranked Mercy 6-1.

Villanova commit Mary Clare Langan scored the winner in overtime as Ramapo defeated Northern Highlands 3-2 in a clash of New Jersey state powers. The teams could see each other again in the county tournament.

Elsa Bley and Sydney Evans, both juniors, scored for Puyallup in a 2-0 win over Bellarmine last week in a clash of undefeated teams.

Medina shut out all three opponents last week, Westlake, Solon and Massillon Jackson.

Strongsville defated Mentor 4-2 last week to stay undefeated entering the final week of regular season play.

Northern Highlands fell to Ramapo 3-2 in a clash of state powers last week. The Highlanders bounced back with wins over Teaneck and Midland Park.

Houston's two-win week was highlighted by a 3-1 victory over Collierville. Arkansas commit Cara Young served up a pair of assists.
10 (10) Allentown Allentown, NJ 10-0-0
Kaylee Munster and Emma Pascarella scored the goals as Allentown edged Bridgewater-Raritan 2-1 in a clash of FAB 50 Top 15 programs last week.

Walsh Jesuit Cuyahoga Falls, OH 12-1-0
Walsh Jesuit traveled to Pennsylvania and had no problem handling Villa Maria, the state's top team in the Erie area. The Warriors won the clash 5-0.

Spalding routed John Carroll 6-1, inching closer to a clash with McDonogh for the IAAM regular season title.

Gonzaga commit Lauren Elwer had two goals and three assists while Boise State commit Tatum Seastrand and Alexis Pond each scored twice as Bishop Kelly opened postseason play with a 9-0 thrashing of Nampa. The result extended Bishop Kelly's win streak to 59 matches.

The preseason favorite in Indiana is back at No. 1 in the state after winning three playoff games over a list of recent Who's Who in Indiana soccer. Carmel shut out Brebeuf Jesuit, which made three straight state finals recently; Guerin Catholic, the state runner-up last year; and Zionsville.
