St. Charles North came away with a share of the adidas Tournament of Champions title following a 1-1 match with St. Thomas Aquinas (Kan.) in a contest that was ended midway through the second half due to rain. Last week, the North Stars defeated nationally ranked St. Charles East, defending Wisconsin state champion Divine Savior-Holy Angels (Wis.) and Visitation (Mo.).

Ellie Stodola scored with five seconds remaining as Barrington stunned previous SIMA FAB 50 No. 1 Naperville North 3-2 in the Naperville Invitational final. Barrington and Naperville North have split their two meetings this season.

Naperville North saw a 33-match regular season undefeated streak ended in a 3-2 loss to Barrington in the Naperville Invitational final. While the teams have met twice already this season, a third meeting -- this one in postseason play -- is certainly possible.

The early rounds of Georgia postseason play for the highly ranked teams are basically walk-over contests. In fact, all three Georgia teams in the SIMA FAB 50 Top 25 won their postseason matches 10-0 last week. Whitewater was the last to record its 10-0 victory, handling Thomas County Central on Thursday.

Westminster Schools routed North Hall 10-0 last week. Expect more of the same throughout the rest of the Class AAA playoffs as no school in the Georgia Class AAA Top 5 has played Westminster Schools closer than a four-goal loss.

Geneva's win streak was ended at 13 in a 1-0 loss to New Trier. The Vikings bounced back with a consolation match win at the Naperville Invitational over Naperville Central.

Owasso allowed its first goal of the season in a 1-0 setback to Bixby, then defeated Broken Arrow, which had beat Bixby to end the regular season. These teams are in line for possible postseason rematches that ultimately will decide these teams' rankings.

St. Thomas Aquinas rebounded from a loss to unranked Mill Valley with a 2-0-1 showing at the adidas Tournament of Champions. In a rain-shortened final, Aquinas and St. Charles North (Ill.) played to a 1-1 draw when play was stopped in the second half. North Carolina commit Hallie Klanke scored a goal in each of Aquinas' three matches at the ToC.
