The winter high school season includes the following states: Arizona, California, Florida, Hawaii, Louisiana, Mississippi and Texas. The rankings are compiled by high school rankings editor Sheldon Shealer.

Coppell allowed its first -- and only, so far -- goal of the season in a 1-1 draw with Richardson Pearce last week.

Season Complete. Florida Class 1A state champion.
School Facts: Private, 650 students, grades PK-12.
NOTES: St. Johns Country Day capped a perfect season with a sixth straight state title, besting Lakeland Christian 2-0. The Spartans received an own goal less than two minutes into the match, and Abbey Newton added the other score just before halftime. The Spartans are riding a 57-match undefeated streak -- 44 straight wins. Despite a lineup loaded with NCAA Division I-bound players, St. Johns Country Day did not face a single FAB 50-ranked team this year. The squad's most notable wins were a 4-2 victory over 4A state runner-up Creekside (which lost 2-0 to St. Thomas Aquinas), a 3-2 win over 3A region semifinalist Ponte Vedra and a 2-0 victory over 2A state semifinalist Bolles School.

Oviedo Oviedo, FL 22-0-1*
Season Complete. Florida Class 5A state champion.
School Facts: Public, 2,500 students, grades 9-12.
NOTES: Madi Allen, Sarah Preston and Hailey Beavers scored goals as Oviedo opened up a 2-0 lead en route to a 3-1 win over Boca Raton in the state final that pitted undefeated teams. The victory capped a first-ever undefeated season for Oviedo, which also won its fourth state title in the past seven seasons. Oviedo built quite a resume this season, pinning the lone loss on 3A champ Merritt Island, in addition to a win over SIMA FAB 50-ranked Newsome. The Lions will carry a 31-match undefeated streak into the 2017-18 campaign.

Auburn commit Sydney Richards scored in both outings last week, a win over McKinney and a draw with regionally ranked Allen.

Brentwood Liberty Brentwood, CA 20-1-1*
Season Complete. CIF North Coast Section Division I champion.
School Facts: Public, 2,350 students, grades 9-12.
NOTES: Pepperdine signee Devyn Gilfoy scored twice and assisted on another goal in a five-minute span to start the second half as Liberty rallied for a 3-2 victory over Carondelet in the NCS Division I final. UCLA signee Danielle Sheehan scored the team's other goal. Liberty, winners of four straight Bay Valley Athletic League titles, won its second section title in three years.

JSerra San Juan Capistrano, CA 18-1-2
Santa Clara commit Isabella D’Aquila, a sophomore, had a goal and one assist as JSerra defeated Los Alamitos 2-0 in a CIF-Southern Section Division 1 quarterfinal contest. The Lions face Huntington Beach in the section semifinals.

Livermore Livermore, CA 19-1-4*
Season Complete. CIF North Coast Section Division II champion.
School Facts: Public, 2,050 students, grades 9-12.
NOTES: Cal State-Chico signe Makenzie Farro scored the game-winner in the final minutes of regulation as Livermore edged Northgate 2-1 in the section final. During the regular season, Livermore defeated Carondelet and tied Monte Vista. Air Force commit Lexi Romero, a junior, led the team in goals, follwed by Farro. San Diego signee Marley Walke led the teams in assists, followed by St. Mary's commit Kamryn Farro, a sophomore.

Carondelet Concord, CA 20-2-2*
Season Complete. CIF North Coast Section Division I runner-up.
School Facts: Private, all-girls, 800 students, grades 9-12.
NOTES: Cassidy Tshimbalanga scored the first goal that gave Carondelet an early lead before falling to Liberty 3-2 in the section final. Tshimbalanga ended with two goals. Carondelet's losses were to Liberty and Livermore, while racking up seven wins over teams that were in the SIMA FAB 50. The team went undefeated at the National Elite Prep Showcase in Texas. The Cougars featured 17 underclass players on a 21-person roster, and the key senior is Notre Dame signee Erin Ospeck.

Davis blanked Oak Ridge 2-0 last week to advance to the CIF-Sac-Joaquin Division I semifinals this week. The Blue Devils will take on Del Oro in the semifinals.
12 (12) San Marcos San Marcos, CA 19-0-4
Hawaii commit Batya Bagully and Colorado commit Kayleigh Webb, both underclassmen, scored first-half goals to carry San Marcos to a 2-1 win over Carlsbad in the CIF-San Diego Section Open quarterfinals. San Marcos faces SIMA FAB 50 No. 19 Torrey Pines in the semifinals.

Season Complete. CIF North Coast Section Division I semifinalist.
School Facts: Public, 2,200 students, grades 9-12.
NOTES: Monte Vista's season ended with a one-sided loss to Liberty in the section semifinals. All four of the team's losses were to team that were in the SIMA FAB 50 Top 25. The Mustangs went 3-0-2 against other SIMA FAB 50 teams, including a 2-0 victory over Florida 4A champion St. Thomas Aquinas. Monte Vista's top four goal scorers are all underclassmen, meaning expectations will be high in 2017-18.

Season Complete. Florida Class 4A state champion.
School Facts: Private, 2,135 students, grades 9-12.
NOTES: Ohio State signee Chloe O'Neill scored the first goal, assisted by Florida State-bound Isabella Dorosy, and Tara Hamilton added the insurance as St. Thomas Aquinas blanked Creekside 2-0 for the program's 15th state title. The Raiders have won five titles in the past seven seasons, and its total of 15 trails only Ursuline Academy (Texas), which has won 25 state titles. The Raiders were nearly perfect in Florida, going 21-0-1 against instate opponents. The team went 1-1-1 at the Tri-Valley Classic in California, with the loss coming to Monte Vista (Calif.). On the way to a title, Aquinas twice defeated regionally ranked Archbishop McCarthy, routed 5A state semifinalist Lourdes and mercy-ruled St. Petersburg in the state semifinals.

Oklahoma commit Jasmine Richards scored four goals in The Woodlands' 8-0 victory over Montgomery, and South Alabama signee Ana Helmert had two goals in the team's 4-0 victory over Lufkin last week.

Season Complete. Florida Class 5A state runner-up.
School Facts: Public, 3,500 students, grades 9-12.
NOTES: Dayana Martin scored the lone goal in Boca Raton's 3-1 loss to Oviedo in the state final. The match ended a perfect season for the Bobcats. With nine underclassmen in the starting lineup, including Martin and Kendra Cashion -- who combined for 70 goals -- expectations will be high in the 2017-18 season.

Sophomore Maggie Lusk scored twice and senior Janelle Bemal added a goal and one assist as top-seeded Poway defeated Point Loma 4-1 in the CIF-San Diego Section Open quarterfinals.

Jayda Hammermeister and Tatum Lenain scored the goals as Torrey Pines defeated Rancho Bernardo 2-1 in the CIF-San Diego Section Open quarterfinals. The Falcons next face undefeated San Marcos in the semifinals.

Cinco Ranch made easy work of Katy and Katy Taylor last week, winning the matches by a combined 10-0 margin. Not long ago, those three programs would clash for district supremacy. Now, the Cougars stand alone.

Stanford signee Sophia Serafin unleashed a brutal attack on former SIMA FAB 50-ranked Chaminade, scoring six goals and assisting on one in a stunning 8-1 CIF Southern Section Division 3 victory.

Hart Newhall, CA 22-2-4
Lizzie MacArthur scored the lone goal, in overtime, as Hart defeated Aliso Niguel 1-0 in a battle of SIMA FAB 50 teams in last week's CIF Southern Section Division 1 quarterfinals. Hart also handed Aliso Niguel a shootout defeat at the Aliso Cup in December.

Season Complete. CIF Southern Section Division 1 quarterfinalist.
School Facts: Public, 3,150 students, grades 9-12.
NOTES: Aliso Niguel's season, which was highlighted by a brief stay at No. 1 in the OC Varsity Top 10, ended with a 1-0 overtime setback to Hart. It marked the only time this season Aliso Niguel failed to score a goal. The Wolverines had wins over Vista Murrieta, Upland and Santa Margarita during the season. BYU commit Bella Folino and SaraJayne Affleck, both underclassmen, were the team's top goal scorers.

Monterey's season started with a 3-0 showing at the National Elite Prep Showcase, and the Plainsmen have been red-hot ever since. Monterey has scored 34 goals in its last six matches, all coming after Signing Day when six Monterey players signed NLIs led by Ariel Diaz to Texas Tech.

School Facts: Public, 1,500 students, grades 9-12.
NOTES: Jordan Tomberlin delivered a pair of saves in the shootout as Merritt Island defeated Stanton following a scoreless match. The Mustangs won the shootout 4-2. Tomberlin also came up big in the team's 2-0 state semifinal win over previously undefeated American Heritage-Plantation, recording 11 saves. Merritt Island's only loss this season is to Top 5-ranked Oviedo.
