NOTES: St. Johns Country Day capped a second straight perfect season with a 6-0 thrashing of Miami Country Day in the state final. The victory marked SJCD's state record-tying seventh straight title and extended the program's win streak to 70 matches. The Spartans also posted multi-goal wins over 4A champ Montverde Academy, 3A champ Merritt Island and 2A champ Bolles School during the regular season. SJCD is seeing the end of an era with the graduation of a loaded senior class that includes Florida State signee Kirsten Pavlisko, TCU signee Payton Crews, LSU signee Abbey Newton and Troy signee Alisa Detlefsen. Crews scored twice. Newton had a goal and Detlefsen added three assists. All three players were sixth-graders on the varsity when the title streak started. |

NOTES: UCLA commit Megan Edelman scored the lone goal as Monte Vista defeated Archbishop Mitty for the inaugural NorCal Regional Division I title. On the way to the final, Monte Vista routed Palo Alto 6-0 and edged league rival Carondelet 2-1. Edelman finished with a team-high 21 goals. Seven of the team's eight leading scorers and Monte Vista's goalkeeper are underclassman and the team will be a lock preseason No. 1 if all return next winter. The Mustangs were undefeated on the field, reflected in the team's record, but did forfeit a December victory. |

Memorial is only the third Houston-area team to win the Texas large-school state title since 2006 and only the seventh since the state tournament started in 1983. Collins was named MVP, Youchum, keeper Bella Killgore and Addie Gaetano were named to the all-tournament team. |

The match was tied at 1 after regulation, then tied at 3 after overtime. Mackenzie Wilbanks made a game-winning save in the shootout to give Wakeland its second title in three seasons. Payton Adams was named the game's MVP. Adams, Grace Bria, Hannah Mandel and Taylor Fogle were named to the all-tournament team. |

The inaugural NorCal playoffs gave Carondelet a second crack at Davis, and this time emerged as a winner. Carondelet posted a midseason win over Texas 6A runner-up during a perfect 4-0 showing at the National Elite Prep Showcase. |

Moon and Algya signed with Baylor and, along with Hemperly, played a major role in putting Marcus back on the national map over the past four seasons. Hemperly scored twice in regulation and then and converted the match-winning penalty kick in the state semifinal shootout win over Cinco Ranch. |
