Upland Upland, CA 26-0-0
Washington State commit Marin Whieldon scored both goals as Upland defeated Edison to advance to this week's CIF Southern Section Division 1 final. The Highlanders will face a red-hot Corona Santiago squad, which knocked off three-time defending section champ JSerra. To reach the semifinals against Edison, Upland defeated SIMA FAB 50 Top 25-ranked Harvard-Westlake 2-1 on an overtime goal by Jiselle Casillas.
2 (3)

Montverde Academy Montverde, FL 12-0-0*
Season Complete. Independent program.
School Facts: Private, 1,200 students, grades K-12.
NOTES: Montverde Academy closed out one of the most bizarre seasons in memory with a 4-0 win over regionally ranked Holy Names. The Eagles, which opted not to compete in the state tournament this year after winning back-to-back titles, played only three matches after Dec. 13 as seven teams canceled games against this state power. This year's team was led by Jamaican National Team player Jody Brown, who has committed to Florida State, and UCF commit Maria Tregansin. Montverde Academy's marquee win was a 3-2 decision over Bartram Trail. The playoff performances of the teams Montverde Academy defeated will go a long way in determining this team's final ranking.
3 (4)

Flower Mound Flower Mound, TX 15-0-1
Flower Mound delivered one-sided wins over MacArthur and Lewisville last week to inch a spot higher in the SIMA FAB 50.
4 (5)

Prosper Prosper, TX 18-0-1
Jordyn Herrera scored twice in the team's 5-0 win over McKinney and then assisted both goals during a 2-0 win over Plano East as Prosper stayed undefeated. Abigail Wilson had a two-goal, two-assust performance in the McKinney match.
5 (1)

Tompkins Katy, TX 14-0-1
A tie with regionally-ranked Seven Lakes last week results in Tompkins cycling down in the SIMA FAB 50 to the No. 5 position.
6 (6) Byron Nelson Trophy Club, TX 13-0-2
Brittany Hutton scored four goals last week and Megan Guy added three as Byron Nelson cruised to wins over Eaton and Fossil Ridge.
7 (7) Archbishop Mitty San Jose, CA 17-1-3
Mitty received goals from three players en route to a 3-0 win over Piedmont Hills in the opener of the CIF Central Coast Open tournament.
8 (8) Cathedral Catholic San Diego, CA 20-2-3
Cathedral Catholic ran its win streak to 12 with a 2-1 win over San Marcos in the CIF San Diego Open quarterfinals. Seniors Megan Janikowski and Audrey Covington scored the goals. The Dons advance to this week's section semifinals against Eastlake.
9 (10)

Allen Allen, TX 14-1-2
Allen moved back into second place in the district standings behind Prosper following wins over Plano and McKinney last week.
10 (12)

Hebron Carrollton, TX 9-2-4
Hebron has rolled off four straight wins since a 1-0 setback to Flower Mound, but the Hawks will be put to the test this week. Hebron's next three matches are against SIMA FAB 50 No. 20 Coppell, No. 11 Marcus and then No. 3 Flower Mound.
11 (13)

Marcus Flower Mound, TX 15-3-0
Marcus defeated Lewisville 4-0 and Irving 6-0 last week. Marcus is third in the district standings and there's been a clear divide between the top four -- all in the SIMA FAB 50 Top 25 -- and the bottom four -- all with losing records -- in District 6-6A.
12 (14)

St. Agnes Academy Houston, TX 22-1-0*
Season Complete. TAPPS Division I state champion.
School Facts: Private, all-girls, 925 students, grades 9-12.
NOTES: St. Agnes ended 30 years of DFW dominance of TAPPS with an emphatic 6-0 victory over Nolan Catholic, which finished as state runner-up for the 18th time in 29 years. St. Agnes' only loss this season came to Marcus during the National Elite Prep Showcase in early January. The Tigers were led by a star-studded lineup that featured Texas A&M signee Lauren Geczik, Notre Dame commit Leah Klenke, Rice commit Kenna Sanders, among others. Freshman standout Jaide-Simone Prejean scored a pair of first-half goals against Nolan en route to a 4-0 halftime lead. Klenke also finished with two goals.
13 (27)

Clovis North Fresno, CA 22-1-2
Bella Taglione's pass was deflected into the goal and Clovis North edged Clovis for the Central Section Division I title. The win sends the broncos to the regional tournament where its ranking will be made or broken once it starts to face teams from other sections.
14 Santiago/Corona Corona, CA 16-5-3
With nine NCAA Division I commits in the starting lineup, Santiago was the SIMA FAB 50 No. 6 team in the preseason. But a 2-5-3 start (losing four 1-0 matches) sent this team hurling out of the rankings. Fourteen straight wins later and Santiago is certainly one of the top teams in a loaded CIF Southern Section race. The Sharks next face top-ranked Upland for the section title. To reach the final, Santiago knocked off three-time defending champion JSerra 2-0 on goals by UC Santa Barbara commit Shaye Douglas and California signee Rilee Harmon. Keeper and Washington State commit Lynette Hernaez had two shutouts and assisted Harmon's match-clinching goals.
15 (24)

JSerra San Juan Capistrano, CA 16-5-0*
Season Complete. CIF Southern Section Division 1 semifinalist.
School Facts: Private, 1,300 students, grades 9-12.
NOTES: JSerra's run of section titles ended at three following a 2-0 loss to Santiago in the section semifinals. It is possible for JSerra to earn an at-large bit to the regional playoffs, but that will not be decided until Sunday. JSerra had pinned an early 1-0 loss on Santiago in December. While expectations were high for JSerra entering the season, losing two key players to injury tempered thoughts of a FAB 50 title repeat. JSerra had key wins over Harvard-Westlake, Edison and Los Alamitos in the playoffs.
16 (15)

Los Alamitos Los Alamitos, CA 22-5-4*
Season Complete. CIF Southern Section Division 1 quarterfinalist.
School Facts: Public, 3,350 students, grades 9-12.
NOTES: Just like last year, Los Alamitos' season ended with a loss to JSerra. The difference -- last year the tams met in the section and regional finals with JSerra winning both. This year, JSerra knocked out Los Alamitos in the sectional quarterfinals, 2-0. The Griffins had a strong showing in 2019-20, led by Pepperdine commit Tabitha LaParl, Santa Clara commit Colby Barnett and Colorado signee Jayden Newkirk. The highlight win for the Griffins was a 4-0 decision over Archbishop McCarthy (Fla.) during a tournament in California. The Griffins had a 1-0 win over Santiago in the regular sason and both key wins over Villa Park and Cathedral Catholic.
17 (16)

Archbishop McCarthy Southwest Ranches, FL 21-1-2
After routing Bayside 7-0 early in the week, Archbishop McCarthy needed to squeeze out a 2-1 state semifinal victory over Estero on Friday. The win sends the Mavericks back to the state final where they will be a clear favorite over Ponte Vedra. UCF commit Jordan Pitter and Lilliana Katz scored the goals against Estero.
18 (17)

Cypress Bay Weston, FL 21-1-0
Middle Tennessee commit Alexandra Goffi netted the lone goal as Cypress Bay edged SIMA FAB 50-ranked Vero Beach 1-0 to advance to this week's state final. The Lightning will face Bartram Trail in the 7A state final.

20 (19)

Coppell Coppell, TX 11-2-1
Coppell handled Nimitz and MacArthus last week to stay in the race for the District 6-6A title. The Cowgirls currently are in fourth place, but their next match is with second-place Hebron. A win could jump the team into a tie for second.
21 (20)

Chaparral Scottsdale, AZ 20-1-3
Chloe Steinhilber scored the lone goal as Chaparral edged Desert Vista 1-0 to advance to this week's Arizona 6A state final. The Firebirds will square off with regionally ranked Hamilton in the final.

23 (23) Vandegrift Austin, TX 14-2-1
Vandegrift rolled to 5-1 wins last week over Hendrickson and Vista Ridge. The Vipers face Round Rock this week, a team that is coming off a 4-0 win over Westwood in a clash of regionally ranked programs.
24 (29)

Grapevine Grapevine, TX 16-0-2
