Following the influx of recently signed Homegrown contracts, there is a new wave of talent coming from the MLS academy teams hoping to break through with the first team during the 2020 campaign. 

This is the rundown of the top prospect at every MLS franchise prior to the start of the 2020 MLS season. Only academy players were considered for the list. No players who are already playing in college or players who signed professional contracts with USL affiliates were part of the consideration.
