1   Cyle Larin* Connecticut F 6-2  190
The rising Canadian star gets to grow in sunny Orlando after being plucked with the first overall pick. With the addition of another international slot on Wednesday, this looks like a lock.
2  Cristian Roldan* Washington  M  5-8  -
Should Jason Kreis opt for his favored diamond formation, Roldan offers a good fit in terms of a versatile option who can break down opposing attacks.
3  Khiry Shelton Oregon State  F 6-3 175
The Texas native had a banner season, earning Pac-12 Player of the Year honors as a crafty forward player. The Impact grab him here in an effort to boost its offense.
4  Romario Williams* UCF  F 5-11  170
The big, athletic forward and member of Generation adidas will be a nice pickup for the Earthquakes as they prepare to open their new stadium.
5 Conor Donovan*  NC State  D 6-2 176
The U.S. U20 MNT defender goes to Portland, offering both a GA player and a promising talent to groom for the future. The Timbers' weary defense sure could use some depth at the back as well.
6 Alex Bono* Syracuse GK  6-3 195
Even with three goalkeepers already on the roster, TFC would be foolish to pass on Bono, who proved himself to be one of the best players in the country in 2014, regardless of position. His GA status would make him even more worthwhile, and his relative proximity to Toronto should make him no stranger to the TFC brass.
7 Ramon Martin Del Campo UC Davis  D  6-2  198
In need of center back depth, the Fire grab the U.S. U23 and UC Davis standout here despite a shaky combine.
8 Nick Besler Notre Dame  M 6-0 160
It's hard to go wrong with the best player available approach, and Besler offers that at No. 8. The holding midfielder is a solid and steady pickup for the Dynamo.
9 Oumar Ballo  UMBC  D 6-2  190
The transfer of Doneil Henry to West Ham leaves TFC in need of center back reinforcements, and Ballo is an athletic defender who has all the physical tools to compete in MLS.
10 Otis Earle  UC Riverside D  6-0  170
It's a perfect scenario if Earle drops to SKC here, as they could use a quality left back option to provide depth behind Seth Sinovic.
11 Akeil Barrett Tulsa  M/F  5-7  130
The explosive attacking player offers TFC some depth out wide and someone who could compliment a bigger forward like Jozy Altidore or Gilberto.
12 Andy Craven North Carolina F 5-11 167
Having spent the bulk of his college career in a three-forward setup, Craven would have an easy transition to Sporting KC's formation, and he'll provide the work rate that head coach Peter Vermes loves. SKC could probably deal at least one of their three first round picks on draft day.
13 Fatai Alashe Michigan State M 6-0 173
Alashe's selection here would represent a best player available approach. Plus, we all know Vancouver loves to stockpile defensive-minded midfielders.
14 Tim Parker St. John's  D 6-2  190
The Crew doesn't have significant gaps to fill but could use a little bit of depth in central defense. Parker is a solid option who could provide minutes in 2015 should he be needed.
15 Miguel Aguilar San Francisco  M/F 5-9 172
Oscar Pareja has a track record of success with wide attacking talent and could continue to grow Miguel Aguilar's game, as he showed some exciting flashes at the combine.
16 Andy Thoma Washington  D 6-0 --
Without a true left back on the roster, RSL can only hope that one of Thoma or Earle fall to them at 16. They would eagerly grab one at this point in the draft.
17 Andrew Wolverton Penn State GK 6-6  222
Only two goalkeepers are currently on United's roster, making the selection of Wolverton a nice pickup to bolster the team's goalkeeping corps, even in the first round. He's like Joe Willis 2.0.
18  Boyd Okwuonu  North Carolina  D  5-8 175
Questions surround Okwuonu and his transition to MLS -- is he big enough to be a center back? Would he be a right back instead? Can he play in either spot? The Red Bulls can grab him here and give him looks in both a central and an outside back role, as they need heep at the back.
19 Saad Abdul-Salaam  Akron  D  6-3 170
An athletic right back who's shown a lot of promise, Abdul-Salaam is also a candidate to play out wide. With Marvell Wynne gone, he proves the kind of wide versatility the Rapids need.
20 Dan Metzger Maryland M 5-9 155
While central midfield isn't necessarily a huge positoin of need for Sporting KC, grabbing Metzger here is a chance for Sporting to boost depth and add the best player available who already inked a deal with MLS.
21  Leo Stolz UCLA   M 5-11 170
Stolz is currently abroad courting clubs in his native Germany. Given LA's proximity to Stolz during his college tenure, it wouldn't be a shock to see them take a shot at convincing the talented German to return to the United States.

ROUND 2

ORDER TEAM NAME COLLEGE POS HEIGHT WEIGHT
22    Connor Hallisey  California  M 5-10 155
After enjoying a promising combine, Hallisey has signed a deal with MLS and is there for the expansion side to grab and boost their depth on the left flank. The attack-minded midfielder saved his best for last in Berkely, bagging eight goals and adding 11 assists.
23 Skylar Thomas  Syracuse   D  6-3  180
NYCFC needs warm bodies just about anywhere on the field, and Thomas is an accomplished center back who enjoyed a strong 2014 campaign.
24 Connor Brandt

San Diego

M/D 6-1  155
The left midfieder in college had a run at left back at the combine. He is an intriguing option for a team in search of depth on the wings in a depleted draft pool.
25  Tyler Arnone  Michigan  M 5-10  175
Arnone was the heart of the Michigan program for the past two seasons and earned an invite to the Combine thanks to his sharp mind. He could be a great fit with Orlando, but has to make the roster first.
26 Dzenan Catic Davenport  F 6-3 188
Looking for help and a backup target forward to Dershown Brown, the Rapids could take a shot on the NAIA standout as early as the second round.
27 Luke Mishu Notre Dame  D 6-0  165
Seattle dips back into the Irish prodcut line as they look to replace DeAndre Yedlin in the future.
28 Axel Sjoberg  Marquette 6-7  198
Given the Fire's need of central defensive optoins, Sjoberg in the second round is a decent chance to take if he pans out and makes the roster.
29 Zach Steinberger Butler  M 5-10 174
Reportedly played well at the combine and could potentially slot in for central midfield depth for either TFC's first team or USL Pro side.
30 James Rogers New Mexico M/F  5-8  150
While his technical ability needs work, Rogers is an attack-minded flank player who would fit in well with Sporting's approach on the field.
31 Jose Ribas Creighton  D 5-9  155
Left back always seems to be a troublesome spot for the Union, and even picking first in the draft here, someone like Ribas could be available
32  Seth Casiple California  M 5-9 155
Casiple is a decent option here for the Timbers, who will also be looking for players for their USL Pro side.. He's a smart midfielder who makes up for his lack of athleticism with a high soccer IQ.
33 Sergio Campbell Connecticut D  6-4  192
With the reported departure of A.J. Soares, Campbell is a more than adequate candidate to boost the team's depth in central defense.
34 Ricky Garbanzo  Coastal Carolina  F  5-7  140
Coastal Carolina is generating players with professional attributes at a steady rate and Garbanzo is the latest from that pipeline. Talented and determined, Garbanzo would be a great fit in Caleb Porter's midfield.
35 Eric Bird Virginia M 5-11  170
While the Crew isn't exactly starved for midfield options, Bird falls to them here in the second round and allows them to pick up the skilled attack-minded center mid.
36 Anthony Manning   Saint Louis  D  6-4   200
Manning is an athletic defender with good vision. He has composure on the ball and likes to facilitate with the game in front of him.
37 Jordan Murrell Syracuse  D 5-10 155
Reports indicate Murrell is exploring European options but given the number of draft picks TFC has, they can afford to take a risk here and at least own Murrell's right should the Canadian not land with a club abroad.
38 Cameron Iwasa UC Irvine F 5-10 175
Wide attacking options are something the Whitecaps can never have too much of, and grabbing Iwasa here provides a player who can fit the way Carl Robinson likes to play.
39 Tyler Miller Northwestern GK 6-4  195
The loan of Ryan Meara leaves the Red Bulls in search of goalkeepring depth, which allows them to go after Miller here, even as he makes eyes at moving abroad.
40 Ignacio Maganto Iona College M/F 5-7 140
While his international status makes landing a roster spot a bit uncertain, the Sounders could take a chance on the creative attacking Spanish midfield/forward who enjoyed a steady combine performance.
41 Manolo Sanchez Clemson  M  5-10  155
Should the Union add Sanchez, it would be a homecoming for the Philly native, a wide midfielder with plenty of ability but one who struggles at times to be consistent.
42 Joseph Greenspan Navy D 6-6 209
This may be a bit high for Greenspan to come off the board given his service commitments, but the All-American's proximity to Washington, D.C. might make the odds of him carving out a pro career a bit better, meaning United could take him here.
