BETHLEHEM, Pa. - Following two big road wins at Lafayette and Bucknell, a pair of Lehigh women's soccer players have been recognized with Patriot League weekly awards, as announced on Monday. Senior Tori Pantaleo was named the league's Offensive Player of the Week while freshman Sam Millergarnered Goalkeeper of the Week honors. The award marked Pantaleo's second of the season while Miller has now won five weekly awards in a stellar freshman season.

Miller has won Rookie of the Week three teams and Goalkeeper of the week twice. She last won a weekly award on Oct. 10 while last winning Goalkeeper of the Week on Sept. 12. Overall, the Mountain Hawks have now garnered 12 weekly awards this season.

Pantaleo enjoyed a stellar week, opening the scoring against both Lafayette and Bucknell with ninth-minute goals in each contest. She also assisted on the second goal at Bucknell Saturday, coming at the 21:56 mark. Pantaleo led an offensive charge which saw the Mountain Hawks score three goals against a Bison defense that had allowed just six goals all year. Pantaleo leads Lehigh with seven goals (tied for fifth in the Patriot League) and 16 points (tied for sixth) on the season.

Meanwhile, Miller stopped 10-of-12 shots sent her way over the two victories. She began with a five-save shutout at Lafayette, her 11th shutout of the season. The Leopards came out of halftime with a vengeance, but Miller kept Lafayette the scoreboard, making four saves within the first 14:44 of the second half to keep Lehigh on top 1-0. She was stellar at Bucknell, making three first-half saves to keep the high-powered Bison offense scoreless in the first half. Miller's biggest save came in the 19th minute as a shot from Alexis Gannon looked ticketed for the top right corner of the goal, but Miller deflected the ball away to force a corner kick. It was a big momentum play as Lehigh was up 1-0 at the time. For the season, Miller owns a 0.66 goals against average and .855 save percentage.

Also recognized on Monday was junior Adrian Vitello, who garnered honorable mention laurels. Vitello continues to be a key two-way midfielder, who contributes all over the field and played critical roles in Lehigh's two victories.

Lehigh handed Bucknell its first loss of the season on Saturday, and first home loss since 2014, after the Bison entered 13-0-1. The win clinched the Mountain Hawks their first Patriot League Tournament berth since 2012. Lehigh will look to secure a home game in the Patriot League Quarterfinals when it hosts American in the regular season finale on Friday. A win would clinch a home game in the quarterfinals, which are set for next Tuesday (Nov. 1).
