2019 Girls IMG Academy Top 150 update

The winter update for the IMG Academy Top 150 players for the girls class of 2019 was revealed on Monday. The updated list reflects the best players in that graduating class based off the recommendation of TopDrawerSoccer scouts as well as club coaches from across the United States. 

The updated list features the same top three players from the fall 2016 update with defender Kennedy Wesley at the top of the list. The talented defender is winding down her high school season after being one of the standouts for the U.S. U17 Women’s National Team during the 2016 World Cup. Youth national teammate Kate Wiesner checks in at No. 2. Talented Slammers FC midfielder Jenna Nighswonger earns the spot at No. 3. San Diego Surf standout Mia Fishel jumps up to No. 4 in the latest update.

In this latest updated, more than 20 new players jumped into the IMG Academy Top 150 based off the recommendations from scouts and coaches. The extensive outhaul of the list resulted in the spotlight turning on some new names to the list. Taylor Yount made a big jump up the rankings. The West Florida Flames forward checks in at No. 46 in this update. Corinne Dente, Gabrielle Green, and Paige Rubinstein all made the top 75 in this update. 

The IMG Academy Top 150 Players is complied with the help of coaches and scouts across the country.
