24 players called in to U.S. U18 WNT camp

The U.S. Under-18 Women’s National Team will hold a training camp at the U.S. Olympic Training Center in Chula Vista, California, that will run from April 19-26.  U.S. Women’s Technical Director April Heinrichs has called up 24 players, all born in 1998.

All the players in this age group are eligible for the team that will attempt to qualify for the 2016 FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup, but the goal for this group is ultimately the 2018 FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup.

The U.S. U-18s will play the San Diego Sea Lions of the WPSL on April 26 at 3 p.m. PT.
