FRISCO, Texas – The first round of Dallas Cup title matches took place on Saturday, with U14 and U15 sides walking away with trophies.

Below is a recap of how proceedings unfolded at Toyota Stadium in North Texas.

U14 Final: Lonestar DA (TX) 3-3 (2-4) Angeles Soccer Elite (MEX)

The Dallas Cup U14 Final between Lonestar Academy and Angeles Soccer Elite proved to be a thrilling one Saturday at Toyota Stadium in Frisco, Texas. In a game of several chances, Angeles Soccer Elite took advantage of theirs early. The Mexican side opened the scoring in the seventh minute off of a corner kick. The delivery met Daniel De Leon’s head as he headed the ball into the ground. Goalkeeper Edward Alonzi misjudged the ball as it looped over his head and into the back of the net.
