SPRING, Texas — ECNL Texas 2016 got off to a rolling start on Saturday under high skies and pleasant, cool temperatures in the Houston area.

While a number of teams were gutted of their top players thanks to running youth national team camps at the same time, plenty of the nation’s best flocked to the first day of action here to impress for the flocking college scouts. And as per usual, there was a legion of them on hand to take in the day’s festivities.
