A new season beckons in the second division, as the USL Championship begins anew starting on Friday.

It’s a league that looks vastly different than even five seasons ago. Rampant expansion leaves the league larger than ever, with it also providing a proving ground for young, up-and-coming talent this season. Not to mention the re-branding into two different leagues, USL Championship and League One.
