The second round of Generation adidas Cup qualifying is set to resume on Friday, carrying over into the holiday weekend.

Once again, Under-17 and Under-15 sides from most Major League Soccer academies are set to take part, with four sides serving as hosts. The top two teams from the U17 age groups advance to the upper tier of the GA Cup, which will take place in Frisco, Texas once again; the third and fourth teams will enter into a second-tier competition, and the remaining teams slotted into a third tier.
